About me and my therapy practice
About My Practice
I offer counselling to individuals in a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental environment, where you can feel heard, respected, and supported.
My approach is rooted in empathy, honesty, and a focus on the present moment. I believe that, even in difficult times, hope can play a powerful role in helping us move forward. With the right support, it is possible to grow, gain clarity, and create meaningful change.
How Counselling Can Help
Counselling provides a dedicated space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and emotions at your own pace.
Together, we can gently explore what you’re experiencing, helping you to make sense of difficult thoughts or patterns. Through this process, you may develop a deeper understanding of yourself, enabling you to make choices that feel right for you and move towards positive change.
Working Together
I offer both short-term and long-term counselling, depending on your individual needs and preferences.
I work with clients experiencing a wide range of issues, including (but not limited to):
Anxiety and stress
Depression and low mood
Relationship difficulties
Bereavement and loss
Low self-esteem and confidence
Life transitions and change
Work stress or burnout
Redundancy
What to Expect in Your First Session
You may not have experienced counselling before, and it’s natural to feel unsure about what to expect. In our first session, we will gently explore what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain from it.
The session lasts 50 minutes and is an opportunity for you to get a sense of how I work, ask any questions, and decide whether counselling feels right for you. There is no pressure to continue — the choice is entirely yours.
Types of therapy
Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Brief therapy, CBT, Emotionally focused therapy, Existential, Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Jungian, Person centred, Phenomenological, Psychodynamic
Clients I work with
Adults, Children, Couples, EAP, Older adults, Organisations, Trainees, Young people
