About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Charlotte. I’m an integrative counsellor and relationship therapist working with individuals and couples, including non-monogamous relationships.

I draw on a variety of approaches to tailor therapy in a way that works best for you. At the heart of our work will be the therapeutic relationship, and I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can process painful feelings, explore how past experiences may be impacting your present, and gain personal insight that empowers you to make change. I am curious, compassionate, gently challenging, and will work collaboratively with you to create a safe environment where growth and self-discovery is possible.

When working with relationships, whether you are looking to improve communication, work through a specific difficulty such as infidelity or betrayal, or are struggling with sex and intimacy, relationship therapy can bring a fresh perspective when it feels as though you’re going in circles. I will look for unhelpful patterns of behaviour that may be causing you to feel stuck and offer exercises to try in session and at home to help you (re)build a deeper connection and improve mutual understanding.

Practice description

I work in private practice, both online and in person.

My training includes a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling, an Advanced Diploma in Relationship Psychotherapy, and I am currently working towards a Certificate in Psychosexual Therapy.
