About me and my therapy practice
I’m an experienced psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience working with adults and young people in different settings. I’m warm, down-to-earth, and bring creativity, curiosity and experience to my work. I bring who I am into the room too. This might mean offering challenge or a different perspective, helping you make connections. And sometimes there’s room for humour too.
I believe the relationship we develop in therapy is an important part of the work. My training is person-centred and this remains at the heart of my practice. I also draw on attachment and trauma theory, including survival strategies and body-based approaches. I aim to create a space where you can be open about what is going on, without feeling judged or needing to have everything worked out before you arrive.
I’m particularly interested in trauma and the ways difficult experiences can continue to affect us. I work with the different parts of ourselves that develop through our experiences, helping you understand where they come from and how they can sometimes lead us to behave in ways that are hard to reconcile. This can help loosen shame, reduce inner conflict and move towards a more accepting and coherent sense of self.
I’m also interested in the relationship between mind and body. We can understand something intellectually and still react in ways we don’t understand. Paying attention to our physical responses can help reconnect parts of ourselves that have become disconnected and begin to process what has previously been out of reach.
I also work as a Therapeutic Lead within a specialist education provision, where I manage a team of therapists and mental health professionals supporting young people with complex presentations.
Please get in touch and I’ll be happy to arrange a short, free phone or online call to see if we feel like a good fit. I welcome enquiries from adults, young people and parents or carers calling on behalf of a young person.
Practice description
We can work online or meet in person in my peaceful garden studio in Hanwell, W7.
I draw on my experience, training and range of therapeutic skills to tailor the work to you and what you need. My practice has a person-centred core, which means I believe you are the expert in your own experience.
My first session
Getting in touch can feel like a big step, so I offer a free 15 minute phone or Zoom call before we decide whether to work together. It’s a chance to talk briefly about what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions and get a sense of whether I might be the right therapist for you.
If we feel we’re a good fit, we can arrange an initial session for £70. During this session, we’ll explore what has brought you to counselling, what you’re hoping for from therapy and how we might work together. I’ll also tell you more about my approach and we can take some time to decide whether it feels right to continue.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome to my supervision practice!
I welcome supervisees who work with adults or young people.
With over 10 years’ experience as a qualified therapist, I’ve worked with both adults and young people across a range of settings, including charities, mainstream schools, specialist education providers and private practice. I’d love to share what I’ve learned and support you as you grow and develop in your work with clients.
My supervision practice and personal philosophy are grounded in Rogers’ person-centred approach. I also draw on other models, such as Hawkins and Shohet’s Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, and offer creative methods of expression to provide a flexible approach that supports your preferred way of working.
I am in regular supervision of supervision and I abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am subject to its complaints procedure.
Please contact me, and we can see if we are a good fit.
Practice description
Safety:
I encourage you to bring all aspects of your work to supervision, what’s going well, and what feels more challenging. I believe that mistakes can offer valuable growth opportunities when explored within a compassionate and non-judgemental space.
You won’t be left to manage risk or safeguarding concerns on your own. If something urgent comes up between sessions, you’re welcome to get in touch. I’m here to support you.
Space:
I aim to offer fresh perspectives on client work and the relationships around it, while also holding space to reflect on issues of equality, diversity, and inclusion as an integral part of our work together.
Creativity:
I welcome creative methods of expression and exploration as a way to encourage depth and new perspectives in the supervision process.
My first session
