About me and my therapy practice
My name is Laura, and I am a qualified integrative counsellor with over 10 years of experience supporting adults through meaningful change. I offer one-to-one counselling sessions both in person and via video call, working with clients on a short-term or longer-term basis depending on individual needs.
My work is grounded in providing a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and feel genuinely heard. Therapy with me is not just about talking—it’s about gaining clarity, understanding patterns, and developing practical tools that support real movement and growth.
I work exclusively with adults and integrate a range of therapeutic approaches, theories, and coping strategies, tailoring our work to you as an individual. This allows us to focus on strengthening your sense of self, building emotional resilience, and helping you feel more confident and grounded in your life.
Life can become overwhelming when challenges feel persistent or difficult to manage alone. Together, we will explore what may be holding you back, make sense of your experiences, and identify supportive, realistic steps toward change. My aim is to help you move forward feeling more connected to yourself, more at ease, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges.
I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, anger, and general life challenges.
Fees:
£60 per 45-minute session
Initial assessment: £40 for 30 minutes
Practice description
I offer a calm, supportive, and confidential space where you can explore whatever is bringing you to therapy, at your own pace. I understand that beginning counselling can feel daunting, so I place great importance on helping you feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely heard from the very first session.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. Together, we will gently explore different aspects of your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and experiences, making sense of patterns that may feel confusing or difficult to shift. While this journey can sometimes feel challenging, you will be supported throughout with care, honesty, and compassion.
My aim is not only to help you gain insight, but also to support meaningful change. I focus on equipping you with practical tools, coping strategies, and self-awareness that you can take beyond the therapy room and apply in your everyday life. Over time, this can help you feel more grounded, more confident in yourself, and better able to navigate relationships, emotions, and life’s challenges.
I work integratively, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to ensure the work is tailored specifically to you as an individual, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. This allows our sessions to remain flexible, responsive, and focused on what feels most important for you.
Ultimately, my goal is to support you in moving forward with greater clarity, self-understanding, and emotional resilience, enabling you to live a more balanced, fulfilling, and authentic life.
