About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Kenny. I’m an integrative counsellor and therapeutic coach, and I'm passionate about providing a warm, empathetic, and empowering space for my clients.
My specialties include supporting clients who want to prioritise their own self-development, and helping those experiencing depression, grief, burnout, identity issues, and difficulties in their relationships (with family, friends, or partners).
I warmly welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life, especially including those who are new to therapy (or talking about themselves at all!), neurodivergent, or from minoritised ethnic groups.
The very core of what I do is creating a safe and comfortable space, where clients feel they can open up and be fully accepted and supported, so they can find clarity and solutions to what's troubling them without the fear of being judged or left to do it all on their own. I’m here to support you no matter where you're starting from or where you want to go.
I would love to hear from you if you're wanting to take positive steps in your life, whether that involves healing from the past, better understanding the present, or planning and preparing for the future. Few things give me greater pleasure than supporting clients with their journeys, whether we work together long-term or for just a few steps along the way.
Practice description
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor my approach to your unique needs. My foundation is in the humanistic theories of Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis, and Gestalt therapies. It can often be helpful to blend these with practical techniques from CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused therapy, as it allows us to deeply (but safely) explore your world, while developing practical tools for daily life.
How we work together is something that we can co-create, so it usually looks slightly different for everyone. The initial focus will often be on gaining a greater shared understanding of your current situation and how this is affecting you, so we can begin to consider how you might want things to change, and what you (and we) could do to start taking steps in that direction.
Types of therapy
Brief therapy, CBT, Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Solution focused brief therapy, Transactional analysis
Clients I work with
Adults, EAP, Older adults, Trainees
How I deliver therapy
Long term sessions, Long-term face-to-face work, Online therapy, Outdoor therapy, Short term sessions, Short-term face-to-face work, Single session therapy (SST), Time-limited
Languages spoken
English
