About me and my therapy practice

I am a MBACP Qualified Integrative Therapist, EMDR trained and I  offer a one to one counselling service in person.

My whole approach is to create warmth and a deep sense of safety.  In a confidential, calm space we develop a deep and trusting relationship with the self, supporting you to access feelings and emotions within the body. My wish is to travel with you whilst you explore your internal and external worlds.  I offer both long and short-term therapy. I like to tailor sessions to your needs and equip you with tools and resources to enhance your experience of living.

I offer in-person sessions at Number 42, 42 Borough High Street,  London SE1 1XW at £80.00 per session. Some concessionary spaces are available.

I also offer in-person sessions from North London Group Therapy, 9 Manor Gardens, London N7 6LA.

Practice description

I am an integrative counsellor and EMDR practitioner offering a warm, thoughtful and collaborative therapeutic space.

I work in a way that recognises how past experiences, relationships and life events can shape how we feel about ourselves and others in the present. My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic models and adapt the work to suit you as an individual, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

Alongside talking therapy, I offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), a structured and evidence-based therapy that can be particularly helpful for trauma, difficult life experiences and memories that continue to feel overwhelming or intrusive.

I place a strong emphasis on developing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I believe that feeling understood, respected and emotionally supported is an essential part of meaningful change. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, with care taken to ensure the work feels contained and manageable.

I welcome clients who may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, trauma, relationship difficulties, loss, or a sense of feeling stuck. You do not need to have everything clearly worked out before coming to therapy — we can begin wherever you are.

My aim is to offer a steady, compassionate and non-judgemental space in which you can explore what has been difficult, strengthen your sense of self, and move towards greater emotional wellbeing.

My first session

The first few sessions will be about getting to know you, what brought you to therapy and a little about your childhood and history. During these sessions I like to establish goals or areas you would like us to target if using the EMDR model.
