About me and my therapy practice
I am a Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Certified Transactional Analyst and Clinical Supervisor (PgDip, MSc, CTA(P), PG Cert).
I work predominantly using Relational TA, though my approach is integrative and pluralistic. This means I am also informed by other methods and theories, to best suit the needs of the individual. These include Humanistic, Psychoanalytic and Attachment-based approaches.
I am also trained in EMDR, a structured therapeutic protocol which uses bilateral stimulation to aid the processing of emotional distress.
In my work I provide a safe, containing, confidential and empathic space, in which we can explore whatever it is that has brought you into therapy.
I specialise in working with relational and relationship difficulties, attachment, trauma and loss.
My practice is non-discriminatory and LGBTQ+ affirmative, with respect for the individuality, experience and value of each client.
I belong to the following institutes and professional bodies: UKCP, BACP, EATA, IARTA and The Metanoia Institute.
Types of therapy
EMDR, Emotionally focused therapy, Existential, Humanistic, Integrative, Interpersonal, Phenomenological, Relational, Transactional analysis
Clients I work with
Adults, Couples, Families, Groups, Trainees
How I deliver therapy
Long term sessions, Long-term face-to-face work, Short term sessions, Short-term face-to-face work

Practice description
I support other psychotherapists and counsellors to develop and maintain their own practices with an emphasis on sound theoretical practice, self-awareness and the importance of the therapeutic relationship.
Supervision is predominately a space to explore your work and professional development, as well as managing demands of a practice on yourself as a therapist and person. It provides a space to ensure you are practicing safely, ethically, and with the support of someone you trust.
