About me and my therapy practice
You might worry that opening up about your feelings will make others think you are “overreacting” or “being too sensitive.” Many of us are taught to just push through, to act like everything is fine—even when it is far from it. You might tell yourself that things will eventually get better on their own, or that you are just being too emotional.
I’m Ariana, and I understand how tough things can get when life throws you off course. Over the years I have worked with people facing a wide range of challenges—depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, trauma, loss, and that deep, often silent feeling of being stuck or disconnected.
My personal experiences have shaped a specialised focus in supporting those who are recovering from difficult or narcissistic relationships, whether with a parent, partner, or both. I understand how exhausting, confusing, and lonely that healing process can be. When you have spent so long trying to make something work, it is easy to lose touch with your own voice. You may be left with grief, anxiety, low self-esteem, a sense of emptiness, or symptoms of PTSD.
Therapy helps us become more aware of our inner world—our emotions, patterns, and responses—often bringing clarity to what we have carried for years without realising. Through experiential and relational work, we begin to rewire not just how we think, but how we feel in our bodies and nervous system—moving gently from survival mode into a place of deeper calm, connection, and safety.
Practice description
I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. It is not about me having all the answers—it is about creating a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported as you explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work. Together, we will develop insight, explore what truly matters to you, and open up the possibility for growth and meaningful change.
I use an integrative approach, which simply means I draw on a range of therapeutic styles to shape the work around you. Whether you are trying to make sense of your past, manage intense emotions in the present, or build a more stable and hopeful future, we will work together in a way that feels grounded, gentle, and at your pace.
In our work together, I will offer a non-judgmental, open, and compassionate space—where you can show up exactly as you are, while also being gently challenged, encouraged, and supported. My goal is to help you take back control of your story, reconnect with your sense of self, and move forward with clarity, confidence, and peace.
My first session
If you are curious about working together, I invite you to arrange a free 15-minute introductory video call.
Finding the right counsellor is such an important part of the process. That is why the initial meeting is really about connection—getting a sense of how we might work together, and whether it feels like a good fit for you.
In that space, we will explore what is bringing you to counselling, what you are hoping for, and any questions or concerns you might have.
