About me and my therapy practice

Hello, my name is Susannah and I am a fully qualified, insured and accredited counsellor based in Epsom, Surrey. Seeking help to address personal issues can feel daunting and scary and is often something we put off as a result. I can guarantee you a friendly, safe and non judgemental environment to explore and work through whatever it is proving problematic or difficult - whether online or face to face . I listen to what YOU would like to achieve from our time together and explore what YOU feel is most relevant in each session. I use both traditional and creative therapeutic methods and will be guided by what suits you the best. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs in complete confidence. I am currently taking on new clients

Practice description

I offer support across many areas including depression, anxiety, stress, loss of identity, relationship difficulties, work and family problems, rejection/abandonment issues, sexuality plus many more. I am a trauma trained and informed therapist. I have worked for many years with survivors of domestic and sexual violence and abuse. I began my counselling life working within a specialist centre for female survivors of domestic abuse and I am Freedom Program trained. I work with both male and female survivors of all kinds of abuse. All work is carried out in a safe, friendly, supportive and non judgmental space.

My first session

I offer an initial 'no obligation' session for all clients so that you can meet me, tell me a little about what is going on for you, ask any questions etc before deciding if you feel comfortable enough with me to move forward with future work together - all in a relaxed and safe environment The introductory session can take place either in person or online (zoom/facetime etc), whichever suits your needs best.
