About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified, registered Person-Centred counsellor with over twelve years’ experience supporting a diverse range of clients. I work with many emotional and mental health challenges, including bereavement and loss, relationship issues, domestic abuse (emotional, physical, financial and sexual), anxiety, stress and depression.

As a Person-Centred therapist, the counselling process is focused entirely on you, your emotions, your experiences, and your unique circumstances. My aim is not to diagnose or advise, but to offer a warm, respectful and non-judgemental space where you can explore your feelings safely and develop deeper self-understanding. Many clients find that this awareness helps them move forward and create meaningful change in their lives.

I trained at the renowned Metanoia Institute in Ealing and have extensive experience working with the Woman’s Trust, a specialist organisation supporting recovery from domestic abuse. During this time, I supported women from a wide range of backgrounds, including high-profile clients.

My interest in relationships led me to complete further training in couples counselling, and I also spent over two years volunteering for a bereavement charity. I have additional training in group work.

My first session

I understand that choosing to see a counsellor can feel daunting, so I offer a free, no-obligation 20-minute telephone exploratory session. This provides a gentle first step into counselling and a chance for you to get a sense of how I work.

During our conversation, we can explore what is happening in your life right now, where you would like to be, and what you feel may be holding you back. It’s an opportunity for you to ask questions, reflect on your needs, and see whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
