About me and my therapy practice
Searching for a therapist can feel daunting. I can remember when I had to do it for myself.
Before my time as a counsellor, I owned a flower shop for 24 years.
I bring a warm, down-to-earth approach to my practice, shaped by years of working with people and my own lived experiences.
I have worked with diverse clients, each with different reasons for seeking therapy. Whatever your reason for finding yourself here, I can offer you a space to feel heard and not judged.
I also have specialist training in sexualised trauma and domestic abuse.
Practice description
I offer both online and in-person sessions within my practice.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of techniques and approaches to help the individuals I work with.
I also have specialist training in sexualised trauma, domestic abuse and couples therapy.
I am currently training to be a psychosexual psychotherapist and can help individuals who are facing sexual related issues or struggling with intimacy.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to help you decide if you would like to book an assessment with me.
The first session is an assessment that helps to give me a clear understanding of what brings you to counselling.
If we decide I am the right therapist for you. We will sign a contract together. A counselling contract gives clear outlines and secures the work during sessions.
Investing in yourself can be valuable and empowering. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Hayley.

About me and my therapy practice
Supervision provides a confidential space for professionals to reflect on their work. Reflection helps individuals to overcome problems. Problems can arise when we do not take the time to reflect.
A trusted supervisory relationship can help us to feel safe enough to bring difficult issues and possible mistakes in their practice which can inhibit both personal and professional growth.
I believe that a supervisory relationship that has equality, warmth and safety helps to reduce anxiety and enables a supportive space for reflective practice.
Fostering humility aids beneficence to both supervisee and their clients.
