Practice description
Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile.
I am a fully qualified counsellor with 7 years experience in counselling adults, children and young people and their families.
My work experience includes Nottinghamshire Healthcare Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) within a CAMHS setting as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner and Supervisor (Low Intensity CBT). Bereavement Team Lead with The Children's Bereavement Centre counselling ages 3+ to adults. I am now solely in private practice supporting adults, families and children with a range of presenting difficulties. I work closely with charities, social care and schools.
From my practice, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space to explore difficulties along with consistently high standards of care, professionalism and confidentiality. My focus will always be to work alongside you, placing you at the centre of support, whilst maintaining the therapeutic relationship which is pivotal in achieving change, despite the method of therapy being delivered.
My first session
Together we initially have a brief telephone conversation to establish whether my expertise suit your requirements. If you wish to proceed, our first appointment will be information gathering to determine the main difficulty you are experiencing, what you hope to gain from therapy and explore therapeutic interventions tailored to you as an individual.
Confidentiality terms are outlined from the beginning. Please be reassured that the first session is as much for you to ask myself any questions too and see if you feel you would like to work with me in the future. I will aim to help you feel at ease and comfortable from the outset by providing a safe and calm environment.

I offer face to face and online Clinical Supervision to suit your needs.
About me and my therapy practice
I provide clinical supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists working with children and adults, supporting practitioners at all stages of their professional journey, from those beginning their practice (placements) to more experienced counsellors.
My approach to supervision is relational, reflective and supportive. I believe supervision is a collaborative space where we can think together about your work, explore what feels challenging, recognise your strengths, and develop greater confidence in your practice. I also offer low intensity CBT supervision for those working in integrative models.
I encourage curiosity, openness and thoughtful reflection, while keeping ethical practice and the wellbeing of clients at the heart of our work. I also value creating space to explore your developing professional identity and the experiences that shape you as a practitioner.
My aim is to offer a warm, safe and respectful environment where you feel able to bring your whole self to supervision, ask questions, explore uncertainty and continue to grow both personally and professionally.
Practice description
I offer clinical supervision in line with professional and ethical standards, providing a safe, supportive space for counsellors to reflect on their practice, develop their skills, and maintain high standards of client care.
Supervision provides an opportunity to explore clinical work and case material, consider ethical and professional issues, reflect on personal and professional experiences, and identify opportunities for ongoing development. Sessions are tailored to each supervisee’s experience, needs and professional goals, with a collaborative approach that encourages open discussion, curiosity and shared reflection.
My aim is to create a trusting and supportive supervision relationship where you feel able to explore your practice openly, strengthen your confidence, and continue to grow as a reflective and effective practitioner.
My first session
Our first supervision session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a trusting, collaborative working relationship. We’ll take some time to talk about you, your experiences, and what you hope to gain from supervision, as well as the areas of your clinical practice where you’d like support, reflection or development.
Together, we’ll talk through how supervision will work, including confidentiality, roles and responsibilities, placement requirements, and what you can expect from me as your supervisor. We’ll also agree on practical arrangements such as how often we meet and how we’ll communicate between sessions.
There will be plenty of space for you to ask questions, share your expectations and talk openly about what feels important to you. We’ll work together to identify some initial goals and make sure the supervision feels relevant to your individual needs and stage of professional development.
Most importantly, the first session is about creating a safe, welcoming and supportive space where you feel comfortable to reflect, explore your practice, ask questions and develop your confidence. My aim is for supervision to feel like a collaborative partnership — a space where we can think together, learn together and support your ongoing professional growth.
