About me and my therapy practice
Supporting Neurodivergent Minds with Care, Clarity and Clinical Understanding in a nurturing safe space.
You’re welcome here. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, in crisis, or ready to explore patterns that have shaped your inner world, we’ll work together in a safe and supportive space. My approach is evidence-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and rooted in understanding how nervous systems respond to stress, change, and life transitions.
I’m a qualified psychotherapist, counsellor and psychologist specialising in neurodivergence, emotional regulation and human behaviour. My work is informed by contemporary psychological understanding of neurodivergent nervous systems, trauma research, attachment, and lived experience — all held within a nurturing, respectful therapeutic relationship.
THERAPY SERVICES
Individual Therapy
I offer one-to-one therapy for neurodivergent children and adults who may be experiencing emotional distress, overwhelm, or difficulties related to life transitions or relationships. This can be delivered in person, on the telephone or online.
People often come to therapy with me for support around:
• Anxiety, low mood, or emotional overwhelm
• Depression
• Neurodivergent burnout and exhaustion
• Masking and identity exploration
• Sensory overload and emotional regulation
• Stress related to school, work or life changes
Couples Counselling
- Focus on effective communication
In addition to open-ended therapy, I offer structured, time-limited programmes for specific needs, including:
• Neurodivergent burnout recovery
• Post-diagnosis adjustment
• Workplace-related stress and emotional overwhelm
These programmes provide contained, focused support and are suitable for self-referral or organisational referral where appropriate.
Therapy sessions are collaborative and paced carefully, with a focus on building understanding, safety, and emotional steadiness.
Practice description
I’ve worked with children and adults in private practice, within specialist education settings and with Local Authorities, offering therapy that supports calm, self-understanding, and meaningful change. I value collaboration, safety, and curiosity, and I strive to make therapy both accessible and effective. Working together to empower you with the emotional skills to thrive.
Therapy with me is grounded, nurturing, and informed by psychological science. I pay close attention to how nervous systems respond to stress, difference, and life experiences, and we work together at a pace that feels safe and respectful.
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or within an organisation, my aim is to offer thoughtful, affirming psychological care that genuinely helps and brings about transformation.
Please reach out to me so we can discuss how I can support your therapeutic journey.
My first session
In our first meeting I work collaboratively, with curiosity and care, creating a space where experiences can be understood rather than judged, and where meaningful change can emerge over time.
