About me and my therapy practice

I aim to provide a safe, non judgemental space where we can explore any difficulties you are having in your life right now. We will also look back into your past, to try to understand patterns of behaviour that might be impacting your current life. By exploring feelings and experiences and building self-awareness, we will work together to move towards a positive change for your future.

I have worked with people experiencing issues such as; anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, sexual abuse, eating difficulties, low self-esteem, work related difficulties, self harm and suicidal thoughts.

I also work with those experiencing difficulties during and after pregnancy including anxiety and depression, miscarriage and reproductive loss, attachment issues, re-emergence of childhood issues and changes in the relationship as new parents. Counselling and psychotherapy offer you the opportunity to talk about how you feel, look at the underlying factors that have contributed to how you are feeling, as well as helping you to change the way you feel and start to enjoy motherhood.

I offer both open-ended, long-term counselling and short-term counselling all in person, online or on the telephone. During our initial meeting, we would decide together what the best approach might be for you.
