About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. I believe that through self-reflection and a deeper understanding of our thoughts, feelings and intentions, we can improve our psychological wellbeing. After many years of working one-to-one with people, I have seen how therapy can offer a safe and supportive space to explore difficulties and encourage meaningful personal growth.
My aim is to help people develop greater awareness of their thoughts, behaviours and emotional patterns, so they can better understand themselves and move away from the repetitive cycles that can leave us feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Therapy can help us feel more connected, less alone and more fully alive.
I strive to provide a calm, confidential and comfortable space where you feel able to talk openly. I understand that seeking help for emotional distress is not always easy, but I believe that being listened to and understood can be an important step towards change. Empathy is central to my work and I aim to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and give you the time and space to explore what is on your mind.
I am Psychodynamically trained and graduated at WPF Therapy in London, a highly respected clinical and academic institution known for its rigorous training. I am registered and work in accordance with the ethical frameworks of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC), the International Association for Forensic Psychotherapy (IAFP) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
Alongside my private practice, I have worked with a wide range of people in different settings, including professional athletes and individuals coping with the psychological impact of spinal and brain injuries through a charity. I also hold an honorary role within an NHS counselling and psychotherapy service in a Category B prison, working within a forensic psychotherapy setting.
