About me and my therapy practice

I believe therapy is about creating a safe, neutral space where you feel truly supported and gently guided towards finding your own way to fulfilment. My work is grounded in empathy, warmth and collaboration. My role is simply to hold that space so you can share, reflect and process whatever you're facing, without judgement.

I don't presume to know what's best for you or how you should live your life. That's not the expertise I offer. Instead, I work collaboratively and at your pace. Some clients arrive with a clear focus, others need time to unpack things gently, and both are completely fine. There's no right or wrong way to begin. You are welcome exactly as you are.

My approach is attentive and non-judgemental. I believe meaningful change starts with feeling truly heard and understood, often for the first time. Whether you're dealing with something specific or simply feeling low, lost or stuck, I'll aim to meet you where you are and help you make sense of your own experience, in your own words, at your own pace. I've also worked with people who feel stuck or overwhelmed without quite knowing why, and that not knowing is welcome here too.

If we work together, we'll begin by looking gently at your concerns, the impact they're having on your life, and what you'd like to get from therapy.

I've supported clients through a wide range of difficulties, including varying degrees of trauma (domestic violence, sexual abuse, childhood neglect), relational difficulties, depression and anxiety. I've worked in private healthcare for over a decade, as well as in CAMHS supporting adolescents with depression.

My hope for you is greater self awareness, emotional clarity and the freedom to navigate life with a deeper understanding of yourself and what you truly need.
