About me and my therapy practice

Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by life, struggling in your relationships, or carrying the weight of experiences that continue to affect you, I offer a calm, confidential and compassionate space where we can begin to make sense of what has brought you here.

My practice is grounded in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, while drawing upon relational, existential and other integrative perspectives where they best support your individual needs. I believe that while therapy can help us manage life's difficulties, lasting change often comes from understanding ourselves more completely. Together, we can explore how past experiences, relationships and unconscious patterns may continue to influence the present, creating the opportunity for greater self-awareness, emotional freedom and more meaningful choices.

Therapy is not about having all the answers. I believe it is a place where we can slow down enough to become curious about what may be happening beneath the surface. Rather than rushing towards solutions, we allow understanding to emerge at its own pace within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist and a recognised BUPA therapist. My practice is delivered exclusively online via secure video sessions, allowing me to work with clients throughout the UK. I also offer therapy in both English and Spanish.

Practice description

Every person arrives in therapy with a unique story, and for that reason I believe there is no single approach that suits everyone. My work is tailored to the individual, offering a therapeutic relationship where you can feel heard, understood and accepted without judgement.

I offer both short-term counselling and longer-term, open-ended psychotherapy. Short-term counselling can provide support during periods of change, loss or emotional difficulty, helping you to navigate the challenges you are currently facing. Longer-term psychotherapy offers an opportunity to explore more deeply rooted patterns, relationships and life experiences, creating space for lasting understanding and meaningful change.

Although my practice is grounded in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, I draw upon relational, existential and other integrative perspectives where they enhance our work together. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, we remain curious about the person behind them and the experiences that have shaped who you are today.

Alongside my private practice, I have experience supporting people through bereavement, workplace difficulties, coercive control, narcissistic abuse, trauma and relationship issues. Whatever brings you to therapy, my aim is to provide a calm, thoughtful and compassionate space where you can explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you.

Sessions are offered online via secure video, allowing me to work with clients throughout the UK. Therapy is available in both English and Spanish.

About me and my therapy practice

I believe supervision is a collaborative professional relationship built on curiosity, reflection and trust. My aim is to provide a calm, supportive and thoughtful space where supervisees can explore their clinical work, develop their confidence and continue to grow as therapists.

My practice is grounded in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, while drawing upon attachment theory, relational thinking and an integrative perspective where appropriate. Alongside exploring clinical presentations, I take a holistic approach to supervision, recognising that our professional development is closely connected to our personal development. I take a genuine interest in each supervisee's journey, including the continuing professional development they choose to undertake, how they are integrating new learning into their practice, and how their therapeutic identity continues to evolve.

I believe supervision is a place where we slow down enough to think deeply about our work. Rather than seeking quick answers, we become curious about what may be happening beneath the surface, allowing richer clinical understanding to emerge. I often encourage supervisees to sit with uncertainty and notice what unfolds, trusting that meaningful insight is rarely found by rushing to conclusions. In many ways, supervision offers a space of calm where reflection is valued above immediacy, and where there is no expectation that answers must always come straight away.

I work with both qualified and trainee counsellors and psychotherapists, tailoring supervision to each individual's experience, therapeutic approach and professional aspirations.

Supervision is available online via Zoom.

If you are looking for a supervisor who values thoughtful exploration, professional integrity and genuine collaboration, I would be delighted to arrange an initial conversation to see whether we might be a good fit to work together.
