About me and my therapy practice

I offer a welcoming and non-judgmental space where adults can talk about what’s on their mind, whether it’s something recent, a challenge from the past, or just a sense that something isn’t quite right. Together, we’ll explore your experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My approach is flexible and collaborative. Some people find short-term, goal-focused therapy helpful, while others benefit from longer-term work to gain deeper understanding and insight. Sessions can be arranged weekly or fortnightly, making it easier to fit therapy around your life.

I aim to create an environment where you feel truly heard and supported. Through open conversation, we can look at patterns, challenges, and opportunities for change, helping you to build understanding, confidence, and resilience.

Every client’s journey is unique, so I adapt my approach to what works best for you. Whether you want to work through specific difficulties, understand yourself better, or simply have a safe space to reflect, my goal is to support you in making positive changes that enhance your wellbeing and overall quality of life.

Practice description

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, leaving you unsure where to turn or how to move forward. You might be struggling with a particular issue, feeling stuck in patterns that are difficult to change, or simply sensing that something in your life doesn’t feel quite right. Therapy can provide a supportive space to pause, reflect, and begin to understand what you are experiencing.

I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. My aim is to support you in gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and the challenges you may be experiencing. Through our work together, we can begin to identify patterns, explore new perspectives, and find ways to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

Just as many people seek support for their physical health, I believe our mental and emotional wellbeing deserves the same care and attention. Therapy can offer a valuable space for reflection, personal growth and positive change.

I offer therapy for adults in Medway, Kent, as well as online sessions for those based elsewhere and provide both short-term and longer-term support depending on your individual needs. Sessions are available weekly or fortnightly, and I work in a flexible and collaborative way to ensure therapy feels supportive and accessible for you.

If you feel ready to take the next step, you are welcome to get in touch to find out more or arrange an initial session.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity for us to meet and begin to explore what has brought you to therapy. Starting counselling can feel like a big step, so this initial session is designed to help you feel comfortable and give you the space to talk about what you would like support with.

During this session, I will invite you to share a little about your current situation and any concerns or difficulties you may be experiencing. We may also talk about what you hope to gain from therapy. I will explain how I work, answer any questions you may have, and outline how sessions would continue if you decide you would like to move forward with therapy.

This session also gives you the opportunity to see how it feels to work with me. It is important that you feel comfortable and supported, and there is no obligation to continue if you decide it is not the right fit for you.

If you choose to continue, we can then agree on a suitable time for ongoing sessions, which can be arranged weekly or fortnightly depending on your needs.
