About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life can leave you wondering where you went.
Perhaps you've spent so long coping, surviving, caring for others or meeting expectations that you've lost touch with who you are and what you need?
You might feel stuck, disconnected, emotionally flat or uncertain about the direction your life is taking.
Maybe you're navigating a significant life change, questioning old patterns and beliefs or feeling that something needs to shift, even if you can't quite put your finger on what.
You know you're functioning, but life doesn't feel as meaningful, fulfilling or authentic as you'd like it to.
Together, we'll explore what's happening beneath the surface, helping you gain clarity, understand yourself more deeply and reconnect with what truly matters to you.
My approach is warm, compassionate and collaborative. Therapy isn't about fixing you; it's about creating space to understand yourself, untangle what's holding you back and move forward in a way that feels more aligned with who you are.
Practice description
I work with adults who are struggling with life transitions, identity, anxiety, low self-worth, ADHD-related challenges, relationship difficulties and the feeling of being disconnected from themselves.
In our sessions, together we’ll go beyond surface-level coping techniques, look at what’s fueling the feeling, and how you can start to respond differently. Gently untangling the thought patterns that are holding you back. We’ll work towards real insight and meaningful change—so that over time, life feels more manageable, calmer, and more yours.
I work in a down-to-earth, respectful and supportive way—no jargon, no judgment. Just honest conversations and practical personalized support
I know how hard it is to take the first step and reach out for help, so if you've read this far, please feel free to contact me for a free chat about what's going on for you and if I'm the right person to work through this with
I can be contacted on 07903 643649.
Where I am unable to take your call, please leave a message letting me know a good time to get back to you.
Alternatively, you are welcome to text, whatsapp or email me
My first session
After our free phone call to ensure we're a good fit, our first session will be held (online or in person)
A first session is our opportunity to explore what's going on for you in more depth. I will not be analyzing or 'assessing' you, but I will be making sure I understand you fully, confirming and clarifying relevant information and ensuring you are in the best hands for your needs.
Most importantly, you need to feel comfortable, so you are welcome and encouraged to ask any questions you may have and share whatever you feel will help me to understand further.
This session will last for 50 minutes, as will all subsequent sessions.
If you would like to call for a no pressure chat, I can be contacted on 07903643649.

About me and my therapy practice
You look like you’re coping, but inside, it’s a very different story. Maybe your mind feels constantly busy; racing thoughts, endless to-do lists, the weight of pressure, the self-doubt that won’t switch off. You might be stuck in overthinking, making even simple decisions feel overwhelming. You might be feeling exhausted, burnt out, emotionally flat—or just not like yourself anymore.
Maybe you’ve become so used to feeling this way, it feels normal. But deep down, you're tired. Tired of feeling stuck in your own head. Tired of the tension in your body. Tired of being so hard on yourself and pretending you're fine when you're not.
If you’re feeling like this it can affect everything—your work, your relationships, your sleep, even how you see yourself. Maybe you find yourself avoiding things, snapping at loved ones, or struggling to find motivation. Maybe you’re tired of putting on a brave face while feeling overwhelmed underneath. Or you're struggling to find time because you struggle to say no and feel pressure to please.
You don’t have to keep managing on your own. Therapy can be a space to feel heard, to take the pressure off, and to work through things at your own pace—with someone alongside you who really gets it.
Practice description
I’m Amanda, and I offer more than just a safe space. I offer a working partnership where we look honestly and compassionately at what’s going on beneath the surface. Together, we’ll make sense of your experiences, find out what’s holding you back, and start working towards meaningful change.
That might mean:
- Understanding and calming your anxiety so it no longer runs the show
- Building stronger self-esteem and learning how to treat yourself with more kindness
- Processing low mood, stress or burnout, and reconnecting with what matters to you
- Untangling difficult relationship patterns and finding your voice again
- Letting go of guilt, shame or self-doubt that’s been weighing you down for too long

About me and my therapy practice
You look like you’re coping, but inside, your mind never seems to switch off.
Perhaps you're constantly overthinking, worrying about things that haven't happened yet, or feeling overwhelmed by the pressure of trying to keep everything together. You may be struggling with anxiety, stress, burnout, or the feeling that you're always "on" and never truly able to relax.
On the outside, people might see someone who is capable and dependable. Inside, you may feel exhausted from carrying so much responsibility, questioning yourself or trying to meet everyone's expectations. Even simple decisions can feel overwhelming when your mind is already full.
You don’t have to keep managing on your own. Therapy offers a space where you don't have to hold it all together. Instead, we can begin to make sense of what's happening, quieten some of the mental noise and help you feel calmer, more confident and in control of your life again.
If you're tired of carrying everything on your own, I'd be happy to offer a free, no-pressure chat to see whether we're a good fit.

About me and my therapy practice
Do you often put everyone else's needs before your own?
Maybe you struggle to say no? or worry about letting people down? Or you find yourself constantly questioning whether you're good enough? You may appear confident on the outside, but inside you're battling self-doubt, criticism, guilt, or the feeling that you're never quite measuring up.
Many of the people I work with have spent years looking after others while neglecting themselves. Over time, this can leave you feeling emotionally drained, resentful, disconnected from your own needs and unsure who you really are outside of the roles you play for people.
You don’t have to keep managing on your own. Therapy can be a space to feel heard, to take the pressure off, and to work through things at your own pace—with someone alongside you who really gets it.
Practice description
I’m Amanda, I work with adults experiencing low self-esteem, low confidence, people-pleasing tendencies, relationship difficulties, anxiety and ADHD related challenges.
I work in a down-to-earth, respectful and supportive way—no jargon, no judgment. Just honest conversations and practical personalized support
Together, we'll explore where these patterns come from, strengthen your self-worth and help you build healthier boundaries without guilt and fear.
My aim isn't to change who you are, but to help you reconnect with your own voice, trust yourself more fully and develop a kinder relationship with yourself.
Therapy can be a place where you stop trying to be everything for everyone else and begin creating space for yourself too.
