About me and my therapy practice

Sometimes life breaks us open — slowly, suddenly, or in ways we can’t explain.

You might be carrying trauma, emotional neglect, neurodivergence, or a shame that doesn’t feel like it belongs to you — but still weighs you down. Maybe you’ve tried therapy before and felt unseen, missed, or even more isolated. I offer something different: a raw, relational, deeply human connection.

I’m a trauma-informed therapist trained in the Clarkson Relational Model, grounded in both lived and clinical experience. I don’t sit behind a mask — I meet you as a real person, with presence and care. Together, we explore what’s happened, what it’s still costing you, and how healing might begin.

This is a space where you can bring all of it: your story, your silence, your anger, your fear, your need. You don’t have to explain yourself or earn your place here. We go at your pace.

Clients often come to me after years of struggling alone. Some are neurodivergent and haven’t felt safe being themselves. Some are survivors of childhood trauma or emotional neglect. Many live with a quiet, relentless shame — the kind that no one sees, but that colours everything. You don’t need to have the words. We can find them together — or find something else that works.

Practice description

What to Expect from Therapy with Me

Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes or textbook techniques — it’s about real human connection. I offer a space where you can bring the parts of yourself that feel broken, hidden, or too much. You won’t be judged, analysed, or pushed to open up before you’re ready. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, with honesty, respect, and care.

Sessions are collaborative and paced to your needs. Some days you might need to talk; other days, just to sit and breathe. I won’t tell you what to do or who to be — but I will stay with you, gently help you notice what’s happening inside, and support you to explore your story in a way that feels safe and manageable.

My practice is deeply relational — rooted in presence, attunement, and genuine interest in who you are. I work with people navigating trauma, emotional neglect, grief, identity struggles, or simply a sense of feeling “not okay” in the world. You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear reason to come.

Above all, you can expect therapy that is honest, warm, and human.

My first session

**Your First Session**

The first session is a chance for us to meet and get a sense of each other. There’s no pressure to share everything or dive into painful material straight away — we go at your pace. You’re welcome just as you are, whether you're nervous, uncertain, tearful, or not sure what to say.

I’ll ask some gentle questions about what’s brought you here, and what you might be hoping for from therapy. You can also ask me anything — about how I work, what therapy might look like, or whatever else is on your mind. You’re not signing up for anything yet — this is a space to explore whether it feels right for you.

If it does, we can talk about what ongoing sessions might involve. And if it doesn’t, that’s okay too — I’ll support you in finding what you need.

Get in Touch

If any part of this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. You don’t need to have the right words — just a sense that something in you is ready to be met. I offer a free initial phone call so we can gently explore whether working together feels like a good fit. I welcome all parts of you, exactly as you are.
