About me and my therapy practice

Life has its ups and down and sometimes it can feel like a struggle. If you are having a difficult time, I'd like to help if I can.

I am a qualified, accredited and experienced psychotherapist and counsellor offering a warm, supportive, non-judgemental and confidential space to help you talk about whatever is troubling you. Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences, understand the difficulties you are facing and work towards meaningful and helpful change. It could be you are having a difficult time with anxiety, low mood, grief, relationships, stress,  life transitions, self-confidence, trauma, unhappiness or something else? Or you might want to make sense of how you are feeling. I am here to listen and support you in moving forward.

Therapy can help you explore the difficulties you are facing, bring relief as well as new perspectives and support you in understanding relationships. It can help to enhance emotional wellbeing and build resilience to handle life's challenges.

I am a BACP registered and accredited psychotherapist and counsellor, I am DBS checked and I work with individual adults and young people aged over 16. As everyone is different, I take an individual approach to each client and tailor it to meet your particular needs. My Integrative training means I am qualified and experienced in using different counselling approaches. These include humanistic, psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis and relational theories including 'attachment' which recognises how our past experiences can play a part in our present relationships and how we feel now.

I have a BSc (hons) degree in Therapeutic Counselling (awarded First Class), Level Five Diploma in Counselling Young People, Level Four Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling and I am a National Counselling Society certified Online and Telephone counsellor.

If you are interested in seeing if therapy could be helpful to you, please contact me for a free initial telephone consultation.

About me and my therapy practice

I  am a qualified and certified clinical supervisor offering collaborative and supportive supervision to qualified counsellors and trainee counsellors/placement students, both in person and online.

Understanding supervision as a working alliance, I offer a safe space to grow through clinically reflective and collaborative supervision and supportive challenge to help you explore and process aspects of your work and continue to develop confidence, competence and ethical best practice.

As a supervisor, I bring my wide ranging experience as an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor working with adults and young people in various settings. I also bring my experience of having set up and developed my busy private practice.

I hold a Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision and I am an accredited member of the BACP (MBACP) abiding by the Ethical Framework and working with their ethical standards.

I offer individual supervision based on Hawkin and Shohet's Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision which helps clinical reflection through exploring client material, contexts and systems around the client and legal and ethical frameworks. It also focuses on exploring the therapeutic relationship, unconscious processes, feelings and behaviours. I also bring my experience of using both the Integrative Development Model and Proctor's Model of Supervision into my approach in creating a holistic framework to develop safe practice, professional growth and continuous learning.

I charge £60 for one hour's supervision and £90 for an hour and half.

If you are a qualified counsellor or trainee counsellor/placement student looking for counselling supervision, please contact me to arrange a free initial meeting to explore your supervision needs, talk more about how we could work together and see if we might be a good fit.
