About me and my therapy practice

Hello, and thank you for visiting. I am a qualified person-centred therapist, offering a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space to explore whatever may be contributing to a sense of unhappiness or feeling stuck. I am originally from the US and did my training there, drawing on an integrative, client-centred approach. Alongside talk therapy, I am certified in EMDR, a well-established therapeutic approach originally developed for trauma and now widely used to support concerns such as anxiety, depression, and attachment-related difficulties. I have also trained extensively in IFS-informed EMDR, and I value how these two models (EMDR and IFS) work together to support deep and lasting change.

With an emphasis on building relational safety, I support clients in understanding their perceived challenges and limitations through a lens of self-compassion, recognising that everything we do—and have done—once likely served a purpose in our survival. From this perspective, clients are able to access new insights and begin to find different, more supportive pathways forward.

Having had the privilege of working with diverse populations, I bring a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach to my work, and I consider it an honour to support individuals of all ages, cultures, races, religions, ethnicities, abilities, neurodiversity, genders, and sexual orientations.

By offering a caring and supportive environment, my aim is to help you recognise your own capacity for well-being and happiness. My practice is fully remote, allowing me to work with clients anywhere in the UK.
