About me and my therapy practice
If you’re reading this, you may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or simply unsure of where to turn next. Perhaps you’ve been carrying difficult feelings for a long time — or something recent has left you needing support. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to face it alone.
I offer a warm, compassionate, and confidential space where you can slow down, breathe, and feel truly heard. Therapy with me is a place where you can speak openly — without fear of being judged, rushed, or misunderstood — and begin to make sense of your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a way that feels safe and empowering.
I believe every person’s story matters. Your experiences, struggles, and hopes are unique, and our work together will be shaped around what you need. Whether you are navigating trauma, unresolved childhood experiences, bereavement, anxiety, low mood, stress, or a loss of identity or direction, I will walk alongside you with care, patience, and respect.
My work is grounded in the Person-Centred approach, meaning you remain at the heart of our sessions. I see you as the expert in your own life. Together, we will build a trusting, collaborative relationship where you feel supported to explore your inner world, strengthen your self-understanding, and move toward meaningful change at your own pace.
Alongside my Person-Centred foundation, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to ensure our work feels flexible, responsive, and tailored to you. Whether you want to process the past, manage present challenges, or build confidence and coping tools for the future, we will work in a way that feels right for you.
Practice description
My practice is built on trust, compassion, honesty, and respect. When you work with me, you can expect a professional yet human approach — one where you are treated with warmth, dignity, and genuine care.
I am comfortable exploring difficult or sensitive topics, and I approach these moments with empathy, integrity, and emotional safety. You will never be judged or pressured. Instead, we will move at a pace that feels manageable and empowering for you.
Our work is collaborative — your voice matters. We will regularly reflect on your progress and adapt our sessions to ensure they remain aligned with your goals, needs, and priorities. My aim is to support you in creating meaningful, lasting change while helping you feel more confident, grounded, and connected to yourself.
My first session
Our first session is a gentle starting point — a chance for us to begin building trust, explore what has brought you to therapy, and discuss what you hope to gain from the process.
We will talk through your goals, any worries or questions you may have, and a working agreement that sets clear expectations and boundaries, helping you feel safe and supported from the outset.
If it feels appropriate and aligned with your goals, I can also offer psychometric assessments in the first session to provide additional insight and help guide our work together.
This session marks the beginning of your journey — and whether you feel nervous, hopeful, unsure, or all three, you will be met with care, patience, and respect. I am here to support you as you take this meaningful step toward greater clarity, healing, and self-understanding.
How We Will Work Together
Understand
We will gently explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns to help you gain deeper insight into yourself and your experiences.
Take Action
When you feel ready, we will identify practical, achievable steps that support the changes you want to make in your life.
See Change
As you grow and move forward, you may begin to notice emotional relief, increased clarity, stronger self-esteem, and a renewed sense of direction. I will be there to support you, celebrate your progress, and help you sustain meaningful change.
Reaching out for support can feel daunting — especially if you’re used to coping alone. But therapy can offer a space where you feel understood, supported, and less alone in your struggles. If you’re ready to begin, or simply curious about whether therapy feels right for you, I’m here to listen.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and qualified Clinical Supervisor, offering a warm, reflective, and empowering space where therapists can develop confidence, competence, and ethical integrity. My supervisory style is collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental, supporting supervisees to bring all aspects of their work — from challenges and uncertainty to insight and success — with honesty and openness.
I have experience supervising both trainee and qualified practitioners across a range of modalities. My integrative approach is responsive to each supervisee’s individual learning style, developmental stage, and professional needs. I encourage curiosity, reflection, and transparency, believing that supervision should be a space where every element of client work and therapist experience can be explored safely and constructively.
My practice is grounded in Hawkins & Shohet’s 7-Eyed Model of Supervision, supporting ethical practice, professional development, and practitioner wellbeing. I view supervision as more than case management or compliance — it is a relational, reflective process that fosters growth, learning, resilience, and confidence.
I trained as a Clinical Supervisor at the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy and bring experience supporting therapists across diverse clinical settings. Alongside my therapeutic work, I draw on a background in teaching and training, supported by my PTLLS qualification. This enables me to integrate clinical depth with educational skill, ensuring supervision is both reflective and developmentally supportive.
Whether you are beginning your counselling journey or are an experienced practitioner seeking deeper reflection, my aim is to provide a space where you feel supported, appropriately challenged, and confident in your work.
Practice description
My supervision practice is a collaborative and reflective partnership designed to support both your professional and personal development. I aim to create an environment that feels safe, thoughtful, and ethically grounded, where curiosity, self-awareness, and professional accountability are encouraged.
Working integratively, I tailor sessions to your modality, experience level, and individual needs. Using the 7-Eyed Model, we explore not only client material, but also your internal responses, relational dynamics, the supervisory relationship, and wider systemic influences. This holistic lens supports deeper insight, emotional resilience, and sustainable practice.
Sessions typically last 90 minutes and are held online, offering flexibility and accessibility. Frequency is agreed collaboratively and commonly takes place monthly or bi-monthly, depending on your professional body’s requirements and your practice needs.
My role is to help you feel safe enough to explore uncertainty, confident enough to take thoughtful risks, and grounded enough to maintain ethical, effective work. I value authenticity, compassion, professionalism, and reflective practice, and I aim to bring these qualities into every supervision relationship.
If you are seeking a reflective, ethical, and empowering supervision experience, I would be delighted to work with you.
My first session
The first supervision session provides a relaxed and collaborative opportunity for us to get to know one another and explore how we might work together. You are invited to share your background, training, client work, and what you hope to gain from supervision, while we begin to shape a shared understanding of your goals and needs.
We will also discuss practical arrangements — including session frequency, online format, fees, and professional requirements — and agree on a Working Agreement that outlines confidentiality, responsibilities, boundaries, and the scope of our work together.
I do not offer a reduced rate for the first session, as it forms part of our ongoing supervision process. Sessions last 90 minutes (£65) and are conducted online. However, if you would prefer a shorter, informal 30-minute introductory meeting to discuss compatibility before committing, I am happy to offer this free of charge.
The first session is also an opportunity to assess whether we feel like a good fit. A strong supervisory relationship is essential, so I encourage you to take time to reflect on whether my style and approach feel right for you.
By the end of our initial meeting, you will have a clear sense of how we can work together to support your growth, confidence, reflective capacity, and ethical integrity as a practitioner.
