Availability
I currently have availability for new clients for both face-to-face and online therapy.
Face-to-face appointments are available in Menai Bridge from Monday to Thursday and in Llandudno on Fridays. Online appointments are available throughout the working week for clients across the UK and internationally.
Standard therapy appointments are 50 minutes. Extended 90-minute EMDR processing sessions can also be arranged where clinically appropriate and agreed in advance.
My availability can change, and additional appointment times may occasionally become available. If the times currently shown do not suit you, please feel welcome to get in touch to ask about my latest availability.
I also offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute introductory call. This gives you an opportunity to ask questions, briefly discuss what you are looking for and consider whether working together may feel like the right fit.
Any planned periods of annual leave or temporary changes to my availability will be added to this section.
About me and my therapy practice
You may be living with intrusive thoughts that never seem fully resolved, feeling caught in difficult patterns around food or your body, experiencing a fear of vomiting that restricts your life, or finding that earlier experiences continue to affect you. These difficulties can become exhausting and isolating, particularly when previous support has not fully understood what is keeping them going.
I specialise in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), eating disorders and eating difficulties, including ARFID, binge eating disorder, anorexia and bulimia, emetophobia, trauma and Complex PTSD. I also have particular experience supporting people whose difficulties overlap with ADHD, autism or other aspects of neurodivergence.
You do not need a formal diagnosis or to know which type of therapy you need before getting in touch. Some people come with one clearly defined difficulty, while others experience several overlapping concerns. We can begin by making sense of what you are experiencing, what may be keeping it going and what you would most like to change.
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist, Schema Therapist and EMDR Practitioner with over ten years of clinical experience. My approach is collaborative, compassionate and evidence-based, while recognising that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I aim to understand you as a whole person, including the experiences, relationships, identities and environments that have shaped your life.
My practice is LGBTQI+ inclusive and neurodivergent-affirming. I adapt how we work to make therapy accessible and relevant to you, particularly if you have previously felt misunderstood or found standard approaches difficult to engage with.
I offer face-to-face therapy in Menai Bridge and Llandudno, alongside online appointments across the UK and internationally. I also offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute introductory call to ask questions and consider whether working together feels right.
Practice description
My practice has developed through over ten years of clinical work, specialist training and a continuing interest in how people’s thoughts, emotions, relationships and experiences interact.
My initial training included a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy. This provided a strong relational foundation and experience of drawing on different therapeutic perspectives to understand each person in context. I subsequently worked within specialist trauma-informed psychotherapy and eating-disorder services, supporting people with complex and overlapping difficulties.
I later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and worked within NHS mental health services, providing treatment for depression and anxiety disorders. I then completed a further Postgraduate Diploma specialising in CBT for Eating Disorders.
I have worked in the eating-disorder field for over five years, providing therapy alongside clinical supervision and professional training. I am the current Chair of the BABCP Eating Disorders Special Interest Group and a Clinical Supervisor for CBT for Eating Disorders at the University of Sheffield.
My further development includes training in EMDR, Schema Therapy, OCD, Inference-Based CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention, PTSD and Complex PTSD, dissociation, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, ACT and Compassion-Focused Therapy. This allows me to work flexibly while remaining guided by evidence, clinical formulation and each client’s needs.
I have also completed specialist training in adapting therapy for autistic people and clients with ADHD. Neurodivergence is an important area of my practice, particularly where it intersects with eating difficulties, ARFID, OCD or trauma. I aim to understand these experiences without assuming that neurodivergence itself needs to be treated or changed.
I also supervise and train other therapists, keeping my practice connected to ongoing learning and evidence.
My first session
Before booking a full appointment, you are welcome to arrange a free, no-obligation 15-minute introductory call. This is an opportunity to briefly discuss what you are looking for, ask practical questions and consider whether my experience may be a good fit for your needs. It is not a formal assessment or therapy session.
Before your first therapy appointment, I will ask you to complete an intake form and review our therapy agreement. This provides some initial information about what has brought you to therapy, relevant health and safety considerations, and the practical arrangements for our work.
The first full session is 50 minutes and charged at my standard fee of £95. It is primarily an assessment and an opportunity for us to begin understanding your experiences together. We may discuss what is currently difficult, how it affects your life, relevant background and previous support, what you hope to gain from therapy, and any preferences or adjustments that could help make therapy accessible.
You will not be expected to tell me everything at once. We can work at a pace that feels manageable, and you can let me know if there are areas you are not ready to discuss. The session is collaborative rather than a test, and you will also have space to ask questions.
By the end of the session, we may have begun developing a shared understanding of the difficulty and considering which therapeutic approaches could be helpful. Sometimes this takes several sessions, particularly when concerns are complex or overlapping, and we do not need to decide everything immediately.
If you are considering EMDR, we would not usually begin memory processing in the first appointment. Assessment, preparation and ensuring that the approach is appropriate would come first.
The initial session can stand alone, and there is no obligation to continue if the approach or practical arrangements do not feel right for you.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor, Integrative Psychotherapist, BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist, Schema Therapist and EMDR Practitioner with over ten years of clinical experience. Alongside my therapy practice, I provide clinical supervision and training.
My clinical work specialises in eating disorders, including ARFID, binge eating disorder, anorexia and bulimia, OCD, trauma and Complex PTSD. I also have particular experience where these difficulties overlap with autism, ADHD or other aspects of neurodivergence.
My practice draws on specialist CBT approaches, Schema Therapy, ACT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, EMDR and integrative psychotherapy. This enables me to support clinical thinking across structured interventions and relational work, while respecting each practitioner’s training and scope of competence.
I supervise CBT therapists, counsellors and integrative psychotherapists. You may be seeking regular supervision, supplementary specialist consultation, or support in developing your work with eating disorders, OCD, trauma or neurodivergence.
My approach is collaborative, formulation-led and grounded in curiosity. I aim to offer a space where you can think openly about complexity and uncertainty, explore relational and emotional responses, and feel supported and appropriately challenged in developing your clinical judgement. Supervision should attend both to safe, ethical client care and to the therapist behind the work.
I am the current Chair of the BABCP Eating Disorders Special Interest Group and a Clinical Supervisor for CBT for Eating Disorders at the University of Sheffield. My background includes NHS mental health services, specialist eating-disorder and trauma-informed psychotherapy services, and private practice.
My practice is LGBTQI+ inclusive and neurodivergent-affirming. I adapt supervision to the individual supervisee, recognising the identities, learning needs, strengths and professional voice each practitioner brings.
Practice description
I offer collaborative, reflective supervision for CBT therapists, counsellors and integrative psychotherapists. This can be your regular supervision or supplementary specialist consultation alongside an existing supervisor.
We will begin by discussing your role, client group, therapeutic approach, supervision requirements and hopes for our work. We will agree a contract covering frequency, confidentiality, responsibilities, risk and reviews.
Sessions are shaped around your needs and the clinical work you bring. You are welcome to arrive with a case, question or uncertainty; you do not need to have reached a clear conclusion. Supervision may include:
• assessment, formulation and treatment planning
• complex or overlapping presentations
• therapeutic “stuck points” and ruptures
• risk, safeguarding, boundaries and ethical decisions
• relational dynamics and therapist responses
• adapting therapy for neurodivergent clients
• endings and longer-term work
• professional development and accreditation
• sustainability and the emotional impact of clinical work
My role is to support careful thinking rather than provide one prescribed answer. I aim to balance warmth and encouragement with appropriate challenge, helping you consider evidence, different perspectives and the possible impact of clinical decisions. We can attend to both the client’s needs and your experience as the therapist, while keeping supervision distinct from personal therapy.
My specialist knowledge is particularly relevant to eating disorders, ARFID, OCD, trauma, Complex PTSD and neurodivergence. We can draw on CBT-E, CBT-AR, I-CBT, ERP, Schema Therapy, ACT, CFT and integrative or attachment-informed perspectives where appropriate to your competence and setting.
I can support reflection on cases involving EMDR; however, I do not provide supervision for formal EMDR accreditation. Where modality-specific or organisational supervision is required, our work would complement rather than replace it.
My first session
Before arranging formal supervision, I offer a free, no-obligation introductory conversation. This allows us to discuss your role, therapeutic background, client group and what you are seeking from supervision, and to consider whether my experience and approach may be a good fit.
Before our first formal session, I will ask you to complete a brief supervision information form and review the supervision agreement. This helps establish the context in which you practise, including your qualifications, professional membership, scope of competence, practice setting, caseload and any existing supervisory arrangements.
Our first session will focus partly on contracting and developing a shared understanding of how we will work together. We may discuss:
• your experience, therapeutic orientation and interests
• your current role and client population
• what you find helpful or unhelpful in supervision
• your learning needs and professional goals
• accreditation or organisational requirements
• risk, safeguarding and ethical concerns
• confidentiality and its professional limits
• the frequency, format and review of supervision
• accessibility needs or helpful adjustments
You are welcome to bring a clinical case or question to the first session, although there is no expectation that you arrive with a prepared presentation. Our initial discussion may itself identify areas you would like us to explore.
If you are seeking supplementary specialist supervision, we will clarify the role and limits of this arrangement, how it sits alongside your regular supervision and where overall clinical responsibility is held. Where appropriate, we can discuss whether communication with another supervisor or organisation may be needed, with your knowledge and agreement.
The first session also allows you to experience how I work and ask further questions. We can review whether the arrangement feels suitable before agreeing an ongoing supervision schedule.
