About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can slow down and make sense of what’s happening in your life.
Many of the people I work with are juggling demanding careers, relationships, family responsibilities and personal expectations. On the outside, things may look “fine” yet internally you may feel anxious, low, overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected from yourself. Sometimes you can’t quite name what’s wrong, you just know something doesn’t feel right.
I specialise in focused, short-term therapy for anxiety and depression, helping you gain practical tools, emotional clarity and renewed confidence. I also offer longer-term therapy for those who want to explore deeper patterns, relationship dynamics, life transitions or longstanding difficulties.
Therapy with me is collaborative and purposeful. We work at your pace but with direction. Together we identify what is keeping you stuck, strengthen your resilience and help you respond to life’s pressures in a way that feels more balanced and self assured.
Reaching out can feel daunting. That first step often is the hardest. I offer a free 15–20 minute telephone consultation so we can briefly discuss what’s bringing you to therapy and see whether we feel a good fit. Sessions are held online via Zoom, offering flexibility around work and family commitments.
You don’t have to keep managing everything on your own.
Practice description
I provide professional, confidential counselling for adults seeking support with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties and life transitions.
My practice is grounded in creating a calm, respectful and psychologically safe space where you can speak openly without fear of judgement. Whether you are navigating workplace pressures, relationship challenges, loss, identity shifts or simply feeling overwhelmed by the demands of modern life, therapy offers the opportunity to pause, reflect and reset.
I work with both short-term, goal-focused therapy and longer-term exploratory work. Short-term sessions are structured and practical, helping you develop coping strategies, emotional regulation skills and clearer thinking. Longer-term therapy allows us to explore deeper patterns, past experiences and relational dynamics that may be influencing your present life.
Sessions are held online via Zoom, providing flexibility around work and family commitments. Online therapy can be just as effective as in-person work and allows you to attend from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
As a registered member of the BACP, I adhere to their ethical framework, ensuring high standards of professionalism, confidentiality and ongoing professional development.
My aim is to help you feel more grounded, self-aware and empowered to make choices that align with who you truly are, rather than simply surviving the pressures around you.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another in a calm and supportive way. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will explore what has brought you to therapy now, what you’ve been struggling with and what you would like to feel different.
We may gently touch on relevant aspects of your early experiences and relationships, as these often shape how we cope in the present. However, we work at your pace. The focus is on understanding your current challenges whether they are long standing patterns or more recent situations that have left you feeling overwhelmed, anxious or low.
Therapy with me is collaborative and purposeful. I offer insight and psychological understanding in clear, accessible language not jargon. My aim is to help you develop meaningful self awareness and practical tools that you can apply in everyday life.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy.
Short-term work typically ranges from 8–16 sessions and is structured around a clear focus, such as navigating a relationship breakdown, managing workplace stress, or reducing symptoms of anxiety or depression. Having a defined focus helps us use the time effectively and work towards measurable change.
Longer-term therapy allows for deeper exploration of patterns, emotional responses and relational dynamics. Even in longer-term work, we regularly review your goals to ensure therapy remains relevant and aligned with what you need.
Above all, our work together is about helping you feel more grounded, emotionally resilient and better equipped to manage the complexities of your life.
