About me and my therapy practice

Since 2018, I have been supporting people through life's challenges as an Integrative Counsellor, offering a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted.

At the heart of my work is Person-Centred Counselling, which means I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you, helping you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Through a trusting therapeutic relationship, I can help you develop greater self-awareness, confidence, and resilience to make the changes that feel right for you.

How Can Counselling Help You?

You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, lost, or disconnected from yourself or others. Perhaps you are struggling with:

• Anxiety, stress, or low mood

• Relationship difficulties

• Low self-esteem or lack of confidence

• Bereavement and loss

• Trauma and its lasting effects

• Feelings of shame, guilt, or self-criticism

• Compulsive sexual behaviours or pornography addiction

• Life transitions or major changes

• Feeling unheard, misunderstood, or emotionally exhausted

Whatever brings you to counselling, you do not have to face it alone.

Practice description

How I Can Help

Using a Person-Centred approach, I offer a safe and supportive environment where you can speak openly without fear of judgement. Together, we can explore what is happening in your life, gain a deeper understanding of your experiences, and uncover patterns that may be holding you back.

My aim is to help you:

• Feel genuinely heard and understood

• Build confidence and self-acceptance

• Develop healthier relationships with yourself and others

• Process difficult emotions and life experiences

• Find clarity when you feel confused or stuck

• Strengthen your ability to cope with life's challenges

• Reconnect with your strengths, values, and sense of purpose

Alongside my Person-Centred training, I draw upon specialist knowledge in trauma-focused therapy, bereavement support, and sex and pornography addiction. This allows me to tailor our work to your individual needs while maintaining the belief that you remain at the centre of the therapeutic process.

My Approach

I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting. That's why I strive to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, authenticity, and respect. I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be themselves and explore their struggles openly.

Whether you are facing a specific problem, working through past experiences, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I am here to support you on your journey towards greater wellbeing, healing, and personal growth.

You don't have to have all the answers before you begin. Sometimes the first step is simply having a space where you can be truly yourself and know that someone is there to listen.

About me and my therapy practice

I have been working as a counsellor since 2019 and offer a warm, compassionate, and confidential space where you can feel heard, accepted, and supported without judgment. My core approach is Person-Centred, grounded in the belief that a trusting therapeutic relationship can support meaningful change. Where helpful, I also draw on CBT skills to offer practical tools alongside reflection and self-exploration.

I work in an inclusive, respectful, and non-judgmental way, and I am committed to creating a space where clients can bring their full selves. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and kink-aware, and I welcome people from a range of identities, relationship styles, and life experiences, including polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships. I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, identity, neurodiversity, and life transitions.
