Why Therapeutic Coaching?
Therapeutic coaching is more than just talking.
It's a structured, psychologically informed space to explore patterns, gain insight, and take practical steps to move forward.
Perhaps you don't just want to talk about what's hard...you want to do something about it..
Maybe you understand why you feel the way you do, but still don't know what to do next....
If you want direction, momentum, and practical steps to shift your life, therapeutic coaching is a strong fit.
Therapeutic coaching helps you grow, not just cope.
It is developmental - increasing self awareness, helping you make intentional choices, close the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.
Counselling is different. it is reparative, focusing on easing distress, healing past pain and supporting when life feels heavy. If you're in deeper distress or facing major mental health issues, counselling is a more suitable path.
Therapeutic coaching is for anyone who is overthinking, stressed, or overwhelmed - or simply stuck and ready for change. It can help with negative thinking, self-doubt, imposter feelings, life transitions, unhelpful habits, work–life balance, and finding clarity or direction.
You might be battling an inner critic, low confidence, or communication challenges, or feeling lost in your thoughts rather than present in your life.
Perhaps you’ve also lost touch with who you are or what you want.
Therapeutic coaching gives you the space, tools and direction to shift these patterns and move forward.
Sessions have structure and focus, with evidence based exercises between to maintain momentum and insight.
Sessions are action-orientated, goal-focused, and future-focused, while being psychologically informed, drawing on CBT, ACT, solution-focused, positive psychology and person centred approaches.
Therapeutic coaching blends the energy of coaching with the insight of therapy - helping you gain clarity, confidence, and a clear path ahead.

What I Offer
Experienced and Knowledgeable: With many years supporting mental wellbeing, I’ve worked with people of all ages to navigate limiting thoughts, emotions, insecurities, and habits - helping them take small, meaningful steps toward the life they want to lead.
I currently work at SpectrumLife as a Mental Health Coach and have partnered with a wide range of organisations and charities, including Axa Health, Childline, Relate, JustB, Place2Be, Flourished Minds, and The Harlow Therapy and Coaching, delivering support that genuinely makes a difference.
Flexible Support: I offer 1:1 coaching sessions tailored to your needs, as well as self-guided programs for those who prefer to work at their own pace. Both options use evidence-based approaches to support growth, insight, and actionable change.
Scientifically Grounded: My approach is based on evidence-backed methods, drawing on proven psychological theories and research to ensure your journey is purposeful and effective.
Practical and Action-Focused: I prioritise tangible progress both in and between sessions. Together, we work towards your goals with a focus on insight, action, and self-discovery.
What I Am Not
A Quick-Fix Solution: Real change takes time, effort, and reflection. Sessions focus on sustainable strategies for growth, not short-term fixes.
A Passive Listener: I actively listen, but I also provide feedback, offer challenges, and work with you towards practical, actionable steps.
Just Theoretical: My therapeutic coaching combines practical techniques with psychological insight - including CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, Solution-Focused Therapy, and person centred approaches, grounded in many years of experience.
A Magician: I support, guide, and equip you with tools, but the real transformation comes from the work you commit to outside of sessions.

I offer a free initial 20 minute consultation, to assess compatibility and to determine if my therapeutic coaching approach aligns with your needs.
