About me and my therapy practice
People often come to therapy feeling lost, stuck, or overwhelmed. You might be struggling with anxiety, depression, or grief, or find that old patterns around anger, trust, or relationships keep repeating, no matter how hard you try to change. Perhaps your life feels like it has lost its meaning, and you need a safe, confidential space to find your bearings again.
My approach is warm, relational, and down-to-earth. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to listen deeply and help you make sense of your experience. We work together to understand the patterns that are holding you back, exploring both your past and your present to create new possibilities for the future. This process can help you connect more deeply with yourself and find a more authentic and meaningful way of living.
I am a psychotherapist with a Diploma in Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapy and a registered member of the BACP, committed to the highest professional and ethical standards of safe, confidential, and effective care.
Practice description
Life challenges us. Sometimes, the experiences we face are too overwhelming to navigate alone. I offer a consistent, creative, and non-judgemental space where you can safely explore what’s troubling you — a place to feel heard, understood, and supported in making meaningful change.
For many, a crisis in a relationship or a significant life transition like a bereavement or job loss is the catalyst that brings them to therapy. For others, it’s a quieter, long-term struggle — a feeling of being stuck in mid-life, or a sense that old ways of being no longer fit.
Our sessions will be a collaborative exploration. We will pay attention to your present-day concerns while also gently exploring how past experiences and relationships may be shaping your current reality. By building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship, we create the conditions for you to reconnect with your own inner wisdom, heal old wounds, and find a renewed sense of purpose and direction.
My first session
Your first session is an opportunity for us to meet and see how it feels to work together. It’s a chance for you to talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it, and for me to explain more about how I work.
Most importantly, it’s a space for you to ask any questions you might have. Finding the right therapist is a personal decision, and it’s vital that you feel comfortable and confident in your choice.
I offer a free, 15-minute introductory phone call for new clients. This allows us to connect briefly before you commit to a full session, and can help you decide if I am the right person to support you.
