About me and my therapy practice
Sacred Self Psychotherapy is grounded in the belief that deep healing and transformation begin when we reconnect with our authentic, sacred essence. My approach integrates contemporary psychotherapy with a holistic, soul-centered perspective, honoring the emotional, psychological, spiritual and embodied dimensions of wellbeing.
I offer a warm, compassionate and collaborative space where you can explore life’s challenges, heal old patterns and develop a stronger sense of self-trust and wholeness. Together, we work to bring awareness to the unconscious beliefs, stories and relational dynamics shaping your experience. This process fosters insight, emotional release and the possibility of living with greater presence, purpose and freedom.
My work draws from depth psychotherapy, somatic awareness, mindfulness, transpersonal and attachment-based approaches. This means honoring both your inner wisdom and the therapeutic relationship as core pathways to healing. In our work, I guide you toward gentle yet profound self-inquiry, helping you reconnect with your body’s intelligence, your heart’s truth and your capacity for transformation.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, grief, loss, trauma, spiritual disconnection, or major life transitions, my intention is to help you experience yourself as unfolding, with each struggle holding the potential for growth and meaning.
Therapy at Sacred Self is not about fixing who you are but remembering and reclaiming who you’ve always been. It is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply and nurture the relationship with your sacred inner self.
Practice description
Sacred Self Psychotherapy is a space for deep exploration, healing, and personal transformation. My practice is centered on the understanding that lasting change arises when we approach the psyche with compassion, curiosity and respect for the sacred within each person. The work we do together is relational and intuitive, tailored to meet you where you are, supporting you to move toward greater emotional balance, clarity and authenticity.
Clients can expect sessions that unfold at a mindful pace, grounded in presence and acceptance. I invite you to bring your whole self, your story, struggles, longings and wisdom into the therapeutic space. Together, we explore the patterns and protective strategies that may once have helped you survive but no longer serve you. Through this process, new pathways for connection, trust and vitality begin to emerge.
My approach integrates depth-oriented psychotherapy, somatic awareness, attachment-based perspectives and mindfulness-based practice, as well as transpersonal and humanistic perspectives. These frameworks invite both psychological insight and embodied awareness, helping you reconnect with your inner guidance, emotions and values.
You can expect a gentle yet transformative process that supports healing at emotional, physical and spiritual levels. I work collaboratively, offering attuned presence, honest reflection and compassionate challenge when needed. Each session becomes an opportunity to remember who you are beneath conditioning and pain, to come home to your sacred self.
Therapy within this practice is not about striving for perfection but cultivating wholeness, learning to live more freely, courageously and in alignment with your truth.
My first session
The first session at Sacred Self Psychotherapy is an opportunity for us to begin building a therapeutic connection and to explore what brings you to therapy at this time. It is a gentle and collaborative process designed to help you feel safe, heard and understood.
During this initial meeting, we talk about what is happening in your life, the challenges or symptoms you are experiencing, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I may ask some background questions to understand your personal history and significant experiences that might inform our work together. This is not an assessment in the clinical sense but rather an open, compassionate inquiry into your story and your needs.
The session also offers you a chance to get a sense of how I work and whether my approach feels aligned for you. Therapy is most effective when there is trust and resonance, so this first meeting allows both of us to determine if we are a good fit. You are encouraged to ask any questions about the therapeutic process, confidentiality, or what to expect as we begin.
I offer the first session for 20-30 minutes as I believe the initial meeting is an essential part of the therapeutic journey. If you are new to therapy or uncertain about starting, we can move at a pace that feels comfortable and grounded.
My aim in this first session is to create a space of presence, empathy and curiosity so you can begin to sense the possibility of change and healing that therapy can offer. From there, we gently begin the deeper work of reconnecting with your sacred self and cultivating a path toward greater wholeness and wellbeing.
