About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or struggling to cope with life's challenges? You don't have to face them alone.
I am a qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor, offering a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and be heard without fear of judgement. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work, helping you gain greater self-awareness, develop resilience and make positive, lasting changes in your life.
I understand that seeking counselling can feel daunting, which is why I aim to create an environment where you feel safe, respected and supported at a pace that feels right for you. Confidentiality, empathy and authenticity are central to every session.
My integrative approach means I tailor therapy to your unique needs, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA). I am also particularly interested in Attachment Theory and Trauma-Informed Practice, recognising how past experiences can shape current relationships, emotional wellbeing and patterns of behaviour.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a sessional counsellor for The Wilderness Foundation, providing nature-based therapeutic interventions, and for MIND, supporting people experiencing a wide range of emotional and mental health difficulties. These roles enhance my practice and have given me experience of working with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, loss, low self-esteem, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a compassionate space to explore what's happening and work towards the changes you want to make.
