About me and my therapy practice

Mo Counselling offers integrative counselling and psychotherapy for children, young people and adults, with a particular passion for supporting younger clients to navigate life’s challenges and grow in confidence. I’m an integrative counsellor, psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and mentor, and I aim to provide a warm, creative and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted.

Therapy can help with life transitions, depression, trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-harm, stress, suicidal feelings and more. I support clients to explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace, make sense of their experiences and find ways forward.

**Experience and approach**

I hold an undergraduate degree in Counselling, Psychology and Therapies, a master’s degree in Counselling Children and Young People, and have completed additional CPD in psychotherapy. My experience includes working with people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, recognising that everyone’s experiences and needs are unique.

I take an integrative approach, tailoring therapy to your individual needs. This may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, alongside creative techniques such as drawing, painting, play, mindfulness, breathwork and therapeutic activities.

**How I can help**

Starting therapy can feel daunting. I aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment where you can express yourself without fear of judgement. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is central to my work, offering you space for reflection, personal growth and positive change.

Alongside therapy, I offer clinical supervision for counsellors and practitioners, as well as mentoring to support personal and professional development.

I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to feel understood, recognise their strengths and work towards a more confident and fulfilling future.

Practice description

I offer both short- and long-term therapy, tailored to your individual needs and goals.

To help you decide whether working with me is the right fit for you, I offer a **free 15–30 minute consultation** by phone, Zoom or Microsoft Teams. This is an opportunity for us to discuss what brings you to therapy, for you to ask any questions, and for me to explore how I may be able to support you.

To book your free consultation, you can contact me via BACP, call or text me, or book directly through my website: [https://mocounselling.com](https://mocounselling.com).

About me and my therapy practice

At Mo Counselling, supervision is a collaborative, creative and supportive space where you can feel comfortable bringing your experiences, questions and challenges. Whether you're a trainee or an established practitioner, supervision offers an opportunity to reflect on your client work, explore uncertainties and build confidence in your practice.

Mo draws on the Seven-Eyed Model as a framework for reflection, exploring the therapeutic relationship, your own responses and the wider context of your work. With curiosity, openness and compassion at the heart of the process, supervision supports self-awareness, professional growth and the development of an ethical practice that feels authentic to you.

Practice description

At Mo Counselling, clinical supervision is about creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, sharing your experiences and exploring the parts of your work that feel challenging or uncertain. Mo offers a warm, inclusive and supportive environment where you can reflect openly, feel heard and build confidence in your practice.

As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, Mo brings experience of working with children, young people and adults across private practice, schools and organisational settings. Supervision is collaborative and creative, making room for different perspectives, new ideas and honest reflection. Whether you’re a trainee counsellor or an established practitioner, the aim is to support your professional growth and help you develop a way of working that feels ethical, authentic and true to you.

My first session

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another and explore what you hope to gain from supervision. We will discuss your experience, current needs and learning goals, alongside practical arrangements and the supervision agreement.

There will be space to ask questions, explore how we might work together and consider whether my approach feels right for you. My aim is to create a supportive relationship where you can reflect openly, build confidence and develop at your own pace.
