About me and my therapy practice
*online/telephone only*
I am a qualified accredited integrative therapist offering a confidential and understanding service for adults, children and young people who are facing a range of challenges and emotional difficulties.
My practice is largely informed by Internal Family Systems & Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, with interest in how our nervous system stores experiences within our body. I will work with you to understand how your experiences connect to you in the present day and explore how you can access inner healing or transformation.
There are many reasons why an individual seeks counselling, and I understand that it can feel like a big decision where you may feel nervous, uncertain or vulnerable.
My first step is to offer you a safe, non-judgemental space, where you will feel able to explore your own thoughts and feelings. This offers you space to understand the underlying feelings that can make you feel low, stuck, empty or overwhelmed. During our first interactions I will provide you with the information that you need to make an informed decision regarding your therapy, where we can work through the areas you would like to explore at a pace that you are comfortable with.
Having supported people in the public and voluntary sectors for over 15 years, with focus around working with those affected by domestic and/or sexual abuse. I have gained experience working with a variety of mental health challenges, abuse and other traumas, addiction, bereavement/loss, anxiety, stress and relationships issues. Understanding the impact that these experiences can have upon a person’s life has helped me develop a compassionate approach to my work.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy (via zoom/telephone) to suit the needs of the individual.

About me and my therapy practice
I’m a BACP-accredited, trauma-trained therapist offering relational, body-based therapy for adults, children, and young people.
My work integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP) — two approaches that support healing from trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and the quieter struggles that often go unseen. I also bring lived experience of neurodivergence, and I work with many clients who feel “different” or overwhelmed by systems not built for them. You won’t need to mask or explain your way through therapy here - every part of you is welcome.
My approach is gentle, respectful, and always led by your pace. Whether you’re processing past experiences or simply trying to hold it together day to day, we’ll work together with compassion and curiosity to understand what your system needs.
I’ve supported people across public and voluntary sectors for over 15 years, with a focus on those impacted by domestic and sexual abuse. Along the way, I’ve gained experience working with a wide range of mental health challenges including complex trauma, addiction, grief, anxiety, and relationship issues. These experiences have deepened my belief in the power of compassionate, attuned therapeutic work.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, tailored to the needs of each individual.

My first session
Starting therapy can feel like a big step - especially if parts of you are nervous, uncertain, or have never felt fully safe being seen.
In our first session, there’s no pressure to dive into anything heavy. We’ll go at your pace. You can expect a gentle, collaborative conversation where we explore what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and what you need to feel supported.
I’ll also share a bit about how I work, answer any questions you have, and check in with how your system is feeling about the process.
Whether you’re arriving with a clear goal or just a sense that something needs to shift, you’ll be met with curiosity, respect, and care. Every part of you is welcome - even the ones that feel unsure.

About me and my therapy practice
As a supervisor, I offer a collaborative, reflective space where supervisees feel supported, challenged and resourced. I draw on the Seven-Eyed Model to explore the therapeutic relationship, client process and wider systemic influences, while holding a strong focus on ethical, safe, and effective practice in line with BACP standards.
My approach is relational and compassionate. I support supervisees to develop confidence in their clinical judgement, deepen their use of self and work creatively with complexity. I have particular interest in supporting work with trauma, nervous system regulation and parts-based approaches.
I work with both qualified and trainee counsellors, including those working in private practice, organisations and community settings. Supervision with me integrates theory, practice and the lived experience of the therapist, with space for both case discussion and professional development.
I aim to create a supervision space that feels grounded, non-judgemental and growth-oriented - where curiosity, accountability and Self-led practice can develop.
Practice description
I offer clinical supervision to qualified and trainee counsellors, providing a supportive, reflective and ethically grounded space to develop safe and effective practice. My approach is integrative, with particular grounding in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and is informed by a strong trauma-aware and relational framework.
Supervision with me is collaborative and tailored to your level of experience, setting and client group. I use the Seven-Eyed Model to explore the therapeutic relationship, client dynamics, practitioner process and wider organisational or systemic influences. Alongside this, I support the integration of theory with practice, helping supervisees to deepen their clinical understanding and confidence.
I place a strong emphasis on safety, ethics and professional accountability, while also creating a space where curiosity, creativity and honest reflection are encouraged. I aim to support supervisees to recognise and work with their own internal responses, including parallel process, use of self and parts that may show up in the work.
I have a particular interest in supporting practitioners working with trauma, attachment, neurodivergence and complex presentations. I welcome supervisees from private practice, organisational settings and community-based work.
My intention is to offer a supervision space that feels grounded, non-judgemental and growth-oriented to support both your clinical work and your development as a practitioner.
My first session
I offer an initial consultation session for supervision, providing an opportunity for us to meet, explore your needs and consider whether we are a good fit to work together. This session is charged at my standard supervision rate.
During this first meeting, we will discuss your current practice, client group, level of experience and the setting you work within. We will also explore what you are looking for from supervision, including support needs, areas of development and any specific modalities or approaches you would like to deepen.
I will outline how I work, including my use of the Seven-Eyed Model, my trauma-trained and relational approach and expectations around ethical practice in line with BACP guidance. There is space for you to ask questions about my experience, approach and supervision style.
We will also review practical and professional requirements such as contracting, frequency of supervision, record-keeping, confidentiality and safeguarding responsibilities.
Where appropriate, supervisees may be invited to bring a brief overview of their current caseload to support discussion, though this is not essential.
The aim of the first session is to ensure clarity, safety and a strong foundation for the supervisory relationship, supporting you to feel informed, comfortable and confident in how we might work together.
