About me and my therapy practice

Hi I’m Erin! An Integrative Counselling Psychotherapist. I’m all about providing support, empowerment, honesty, compassion and understanding to help you make sense of your experiences and move forward in an authentic and healthy way. Therapy can seem scary but it doesn’t have to be! It just takes time and effort and I want to facilitate getting you to a place where you can reflect and navigate change at your own pace. 


• Qualified therapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP)

• CBT practitioner, Solution focussed and Person Centred therapy offered

• Worked/working in various settings including higher education, counselling/counsellor training agencies, a wellbeing centre, schools and a hospice

• 6+ years of therapeutic experience working with a variety of presenting mental health issues


My therapeutic style is open, non-judgmental and holding. The space I provide is confidential, containing and warm- a place for you to explore what’s going on for you and what could be understood/changed. Everyone is different and I of course tailor all interventions to your needs in a considered and accepting manner. My goal is to support you in your journey through the madness that is life! 

Practice description

I offer various forms of therapy such as CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), Person-Centred Therapy and Solution focused therapy. 

I have worked with lots of diversity, helping clients to identify and face their challenges, giving them the confidence and language to better express themselves and their needs. I want to get to know you and work collaboratively/creatively to understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. Through the setting of goals and tasks, you will hopefully feel better. 

My first session

• A 15 minute free initial online video call. This is a space for us to chat briefly and get a sense of each other. I’ll tell you more about the way I work and what sessions could look like with me. You can of course ask lots of questions too!

• If you’d like to start with me, I will arrange a first session (online) which will be an opportunity to explore your issues and goals. I’ll suggest a plan and we can decide if structured or unstructured sessions will work best for you. We’ll also think about how many sessions you may want- all your decision.
