Availability

I offer sessions throughout the week, with a mix of daytime and evening appointments Monday to Friday. Many people come to therapy while juggling work, caring responsibilities, or the emotional load of daily life, so I try to offer times that create enough breathing space rather than adding pressure.

For those who prefer to meet in person, I offer limited Saturday appointments in Bedfordshire. These tend to suit people who need a quieter, more grounded start to the weekend, or who find weekday travel and work patterns difficult to navigate.

Online sessions are available across the week and offer more flexibility if you’re balancing a full schedule, living further away, or simply feel more at ease in your own space.

When you get in touch, we can look together at what’s currently available and what might work best for the pace and depth you’re hoping for. My aim is always to find a rhythm that supports you rather than rushes you.

About me and my therapy practice

My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy becomes meaningful when you feel genuinely met, understood, and not rushed. I offer a steady, reflective space where you can bring the parts of your life that feel confusing, overwhelming, or long‑carried, and explore them at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

I work from a psychodynamic and trauma‑informed perspective, paying close attention to the emotional patterns that shape how you feel, relate, and make sense of your experiences. This includes the roles you’ve held in relationships, the ways you protect yourself, and the impact of earlier experiences that may still influence you now. Together, we look at what is happening in your life and why certain feelings or patterns keep returning, so you can begin to understand yourself with more clarity and compassion.

My practice is culturally inclusive and identity‑aware. Many people navigate the tension of living between cultures, carrying unspoken expectations, or feeling pressure to be different versions of themselves in different spaces. These experiences can shape your sense of belonging, your emotional world, and the stories you tell yourself about who you should be. I hold these dynamics with curiosity and care, creating room for the complexity of who you are and the histories you carry.

I work collaboratively, helping you slow down enough to notice what feels overwhelming, what feels stuck, and what might be shifting. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes; it’s about developing a deeper understanding of yourself so that change becomes possible from the inside out. My aim is to offer a grounded, thoughtful space where you can reflect, make sense of your experiences, and move towards a way of living that feels more aligned and sustainable.

Practice description

My practice offers a calm, steady space where you can slow down and make sense of what you’re carrying. People often come to therapy when life feels heavy, confusing, or out of balance, or when something no longer feels sustainable but is hard to articulate. I offer a grounded, reflective environment where you can explore these experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

I support clients with a wide range of emotional concerns, including anxiety, low mood, burnout, relationship patterns, identity questions, and the impact of earlier experiences that still feel present. I pay close attention to the emotional themes that run through your life - the roles you’ve held, the expectations placed on you, and the ways you’ve learned to cope or protect yourself. These patterns often hold important clues about what feels stuck and what might begin to shift.

My approach is psychodynamic and existential, which means I’m interested in both the deeper threads that shape how you feel and the questions that sit beneath your day‑to‑day experience - meaning, choice, responsibility, uncertainty, and the tension between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. Together, we explore not just what is happening, but what it signifies for your sense of self and the life you want to move toward.

Therapy with me is collaborative and thoughtful. I don’t offer quick fixes or generic advice; instead, we work together to understand your emotional world in a deeper, more grounded way. Over time, this understanding can create room for new choices, clearer boundaries, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

My aim is to offer a containing, reflective space where you can explore your experiences, reconnect with your needs, and move towards a way of living that feels more aligned and sustainable.

My first session

Before beginning therapy, I offer a complimentary 20‑minute introductory telephone call. This is a gentle first step where you can get a sense of me, share what has been on your mind, and see whether the space I offer feels like somewhere you could settle. There’s no pressure to commit - it’s simply a conversation to help you feel into whether this is the right fit.

If you decide to begin therapy, I’ll send you a consultation form. Many people find that completing it brings a bit of clarity: it invites you to pause, notice what feels most present, and name the things that have been quietly asking for attention. It isn’t about giving perfect answers; it’s a starting point for us to explore together.

In our first full session, we take time to move through the themes you’ve shared. We look at what feels heavy, what feels confusing, and what you’ve been carrying on your own for a long time. This session is often slower and more spacious - a chance for you to arrive, breathe, and begin to feel what it’s like to be in the room (or online space) with me. You’re welcome to bring anything that feels important, even if you’re not sure where it fits yet.

We’ll also talk through practicalities such as timing, rhythm, and what helps you feel grounded in the work. My aim is to create a beginning that feels thoughtful and containing, so you can ease into therapy at a pace that feels right for you.
