About me and my therapy practice

I’m a BACP accredited counsellor and psychotherapist based in Bristol, offering face to face, online or walk and talk counselling. I’m passionate about making therapy accessible and empowering.

I offer face to face appointments at the Practice Rooms, located in North and Central Bristol, and online sessions which can provide more flexibility. For those that don’t like to have sessions in the traditional format, or prefer to be on the move, I also provide walk and talk sessions in greenspaces all over Bristol.

I would love to tell you that I have all the answers and solutions for your problems, however that wouldn’t be true. But here is what I can offer you.

A time to explore your challenges:

I don’t believe I am the expert of you. Instead, I aim to help you navigate through challenges rather than analyse, and approach our sessions with curiosity, rather than judgement, to find out what works for you.

An opportunity to make sense of experience:

Counselling can be an opportunity to hit pause and sit with a difficult experience to help us understand it , own it and decide how we’d like to move forward.

A chance to connect with what’s important to you:

As a humanistic counsellor, I work from the believe that you have all you need to start being the person you want to be, or living the life you want to live, sometimes we just need some help along the way. Counselling is also about connecting with the values you hold in creating the kind of person you hope to be.

Take action and get empowered:

Ultimately, I want you to leave our sessions and time together feeling you are able to identify and take actions that help you experience life fully and meaningfully, in the direction you would like to move in.

* I offer a discounted rate to any NHS or emergency services frontline workers.

Practice description

Sessions are typically 50 minutes and can be weekly or fortnightly, depending on what suits you best. We might use talking, reflection, and sometimes practical exercises to help you gain clarity and build the tools you need.

The cost is £65 per session. However, I am passionate about making therapy accessible, so If the cost of therapy is a challenge I would welcome a call, free of charge, to discuss options.
