About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Paula. I'm a qualified, experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in Milton Keynes.
I specialise in Anxiety and Trauma, but like many counsellors, the variety of reasons people choose me is a list too long to map out.
In fact, how you feel with me, largely impacts the therapeutics experience and results from you are looking for. This is why I insist we talk on the phone for at least 10 minutes or that you schedule a free consultation session with me before block booking sessions.
I work Monday to Friday between 9 am and 7 pm and typically use 50 minute session times to ensure there are never clashes for sessions and giving you the time you need.
I work from my private practice at home. I've moved away from the office environment as my clients wanted a private setting away from the possibility of meeting people they may know.
My therapy practice is often described as "Calm and tranquil" and "A place I can just be me."
My first session
All first sessions are consultation sessions. These can be done over the phone, Skype, Zoom or face to face. Please allow for 20 minutes for this.
Once this is done, and you're happy to proceed. We then discuss some plans to help to work on the challenges you're facing.
