About me and my therapy practice
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving you feeling stuck or unsure how to move forward. Counselling offers a space to pause, reflect, and make sense of what’s happening for you.
I have a warm, down-to-earth approach and provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel heard. Together, we can gently explore your thoughts and experiences, helping you gain clarity and move towards a way of living that feels more manageable and aligned.
My core training is in person-centred counselling, which means you set the pace and focus of our sessions. Alongside listening and support, I may offer insights and practical strategies to help you build awareness and move forward with greater confidence.
I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you, particularly with people who feel emotionally overwhelmed, exhausted, or at a point of transition in their lives. My aim is to help you feel more grounded, clearer in your thinking, and better able to navigate everyday life.
Practice description
I offer focused counselling for adults who are looking for support, clarity, and direction.
I have a particular interest in working with:
* Anxiety and low mood
* Stress and burnout, including caring roles
* Family dynamics and recognising unhealthy patterns
* Life transitions (such as menopause, empty nest, retirement, or moving from education into work)
* Feeling stuck or questioning “what’s next?”
I specialise in short-term counselling (typically 3–6 sessions), which can be helpful if you have a specific issue you’d like to explore or would benefit from a focused period of support.
I bring both professional training and life experience to my work. I hold a BACP-recognised counselling degree and have undertaken additional training in neuroscience and cognitive behavioural therapy. Additionally I hold vocational qualifications in coaching, and working with narcissistic dynamics. I am committed to ongoing supervision and professional development.
