About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor, registered with the BACP and the UKCP.
I offer talking therapy outdoors in natural settings, such as woodlands.
I can help with a wide range of personal and relationship problems - I offer a free phone conversation to talk about whether I can help you.
...
A few words on my approach: I am a 'gestalt' therapist - a deep, lively approach based on open and honest dialogue.
I focus on your experience in relationships past and present, including social and cultural factors.
The general aim is to identify fixed patterns in your life, and find out how you might change them - or come to terms with what can't be changed.
My style is compassionate, honest, and non-judgemental.
...
Alongside my private practice, I work in a local university. I have also worked in an NHS acute mental health ward, and various bereavement services.
