About me and my therapy practice

I support women and teenage girls who are struggling with anxiety, body image, or low self-esteem.

On the outside, you might look like you’re coping, going to school, work, or keeping everything together, but inside, your mind feels chaotic, critical, and exhausting to live with.

You might find yourself overthinking conversations, comparing your body or achievements to others, and coming away feeling like you’re not good enough. Anxiety can show up socially, in relationships, or when life feels overwhelming, and it can be easy to blame yourself or feel like you’re “too sensitive.”

When things feel like this, your body often becomes the focus, a way of trying to feel more in control. But underneath, there’s often something deeper around self-worth, belonging, and acceptance.

I offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel truly heard and accepted, exactly as you are. As a person-centred therapist, I won’t tell you how you should feel or who you need to be. Instead, I meet you where you are and work at your pace, focusing on building trust and connection.

Practice description

Over the past seven years, I’ve supported teenagers and women across schools, charities, and private practice, with a focus on anxiety, self-esteem, and body image.

In our sessions, we gently explore the patterns that might be keeping you stuck, such as self-criticism, comparison, or feeling like you’re never quite “good enough.” Together, we begin to question these beliefs and understand where they’ve come from, while also finding practical ways to manage anxiety and feel less overwhelmed day to day.

If it feels relevant for you, we can explore your relationship with food and your body with compassion. I understand how strong the pull can be to change your body as a way to feel better and we can start to look at what’s underneath that, to begin building a sense of self-worth that isn’t dependent on appearance or achievement.

I aim to create a space that feels relaxed, supportive, and unpressured. Sessions are always tailored to you, and alongside talking, I may bring in creative or practical tools to help things feel more manageable.

Over time, many clients notice their inner voice becoming softer and less critical, anxiety feeling easier to navigate, and a more grounded, confident sense of self beginning to grow.

My first session

If you think I might be the right fit for you or your daughter, I offer a free 20-minute phone or video consultation. There’s no pressure, it’s simply a chance to ask questions, share what’s brought you to therapy, and get a feel for how I work.

If you decide to book a first session, we’ll gently explore what’s been happening for you and what you’d like to gain from therapy.
