About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Ognyan Dimitrov (Oggy), a Person‑Centred Counsellor offering confidential online evening counselling from 5 pm to 11 pm for adults across the UK.
I’m a MBACP – Registered Member of BACP – British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am working in alignment with professional ethical standards and confidentiality principles.
My approach is friendly, understanding, and collaborative — helping you find clarity and emotional balance through genuine connection and empathy.
Professional Background & Experience
Alongside my private online evening counselling from 5 pm to 11 pm I work as a Community Support Worker in Coventry and Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind since 2009, providing long‑term community mental health support and coordinating recovery plans with mental health professionals and partner agencies.
Since beginning of 2024 I work as a Mental Health Worker (Bank Staff) with Safe Haven – Mental Health Crisis Service (Coventry, Warwickshire & Worcestershire Mind). I support adults who are through mental health crisis, and I provide crisis intervention and emotional support, both face‑to‑face and online.
My role includes crisis de‑escalation, risk assessment, safety planning, and close collaboration with NHS crisis teams to ensure integrated care.
Previously, I volunteered as a Counsellor at Coventry & Warwickshire Mind from 2020 to 2023 and I had placement at Sycamore Counselling Service, between 2018 to 2020. I was counselling adults experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship difficulties, bereavement, and more.
Practice description
Evening Telephone and Online Counselling — Support When You Need It Most
Life doesn’t slow down after 5 pm — in fact, that’s often when you finally have time to breathe. Many people spend their days working, caring for family, or juggling responsibilities, leaving little space for self‑care.
That’s why I offer online evening counselling from 5 pm to 11 pm. After the rush of the day, you can focus on your emotional wellbeing in the comfort and privacy of your own home — without travelling or rearranging your schedule.
I provide counselling after work hours - 5 pm to 11 pm, so support is accessible when you actually have time to engage.
My Counselling Approach and Values
My work is guided by the person‑centred philosophy — offering empathy, respect, and a non‑judgemental environment where you can feel truly heard.
You are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, supporting your self‑understanding and growth at your own pace. I believe every person has the capacity for change when met with genuine care and compassion.
Confidentiality & Working at Your Pace
Your privacy and sense of safety are my top priorities. Each session is held in a secure online space or over the phone that respects confidentiality and data protection.
You set the pace — whether you need time to build trust or want to work through issues more directly. There’s no pressure, only a supportive space where you can take the steps that feel right for you.

If you’d like to explore working together, you can contact me using the form on this page or by email. You don’t need to write a lot – just a few lines about what you’re looking for and your preferred evening times on Tuesday or Wednesday between 5 pm – 11 pm. I will reply as soon as I can, usually within two working days, to let you know about current availability and to answer any questions.
From there, we can arrange an initial session or a brief phone or video call so you can get a sense of me and whether this feels like a good fit. There is no obligation to continue if it doesn’t feel right.
However you’re feeling right now, you are not “too much” or “not enough” for this space. You don’t have to shrink yourself, tidy your feelings away, or present a more “acceptable” version of you in order to be welcome here. The anger, numbness, confusion, tears, or complete lack of words you might bring are all parts of your experience, and they all deserve gentle attention rather than judgement.
Life is precious, even when it feels heavy or colourless, and we need to keep a good hold of it, especially in the moments when it seems to be slipping through our fingers. Counselling can be one way of holding on – not by forcing you to be positive, but by sitting alongside you so you don’t have to carry everything alone.
