Therapist - Epsom

Epsom KT19
Sessions from £60.00

Features

  • Flexible hours available
  • Concessionary rates

Availability

I work Tuesdays - Fridays both Face to Face in the Epsom / Ewell / Stoneleigh area and Online.

Sessions can be as early as 8am and as late as 8pm depending on the day and my availability.

About me and my therapy practice

I'm an Integrative Therapist which means I use a range of approaches and techniques to best suit your individual wants and needs. This can include Psychodynamic ways of working, Person-Centered therapy and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). I’m very happy to discuss and explain these further.

I have many years experience working therapeutically with children, young people and adults in the public, charity and health sectors. These experiences led me to gain more formal training and qualify as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I am passionate about supporting individuals through a therapeutic relationship to achieve their desired outcomes and goals. I am also a practising Christian and for clients who share this faith we could work from this frame of reference and through a biblical lens.

Practice description

Whether you are exploring the option of counselling and psychotherapy for a specific reason or you want to further examine aspects of yourself and your life experiences. I provide a non-judgemental, safe, confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

It could be the first time you speak to someone about difficulties you are experiencing or you may have had therapy in the past. Either way we can work together to achieve your therapeutic goal.

I can support you with:

  • Making peace with your past
  • Understanding of yourself
  • Behavioural change
  • Supporting through transition
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Managing challenges
  • Working with anxiety and depression
  • Relationship struggles
  • Family matters
  • Faith issues

My first session

If you're interested in working with me the first step would be to set up an initial meeting where you can talk freely about what brought you to me, along with any goals you may wish to achieve, and questions you may have about therapy. You will also experience what I’m like and how I work. I can explain my policy on confidentiality, payment and cancellations.

After our initial meeting, if you decide I am the right fit for you, we can work together to build a plan for you – it may be just a few sessions or on an open-ended basis. It helps to decide upon a time-frame together from the outset, but nothing is set in stone, and we can always review the work as it unfolds.
