About me and my therapy practice
Past traumatic experiences can quietly influence how you feel and cope each day. You might notice anxiety creeping in, distressing memories appearing out of nowhere, difficulty sleeping, or tension in your relationships. Some days you might feel disconnected from yourself or your emotions, while other times strong feelings can take over, leaving you exhausted or on edge. Life can feel heavier and harder to manage, but you don’t have to face it alone.
How I Can Help
I specialise in trauma therapy for single-event trauma (PTSD), complex trauma, and relational trauma. Using EMDR, talking therapy, and creative approaches, I can help you process experiences that still adversely affect you, ease anxiety or emotional shutdown, work through intrusive memories, and strengthen self-compassion and resilience.
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps your brain process distressing memories. It isn’t only for catastrophic or life-changing events - EMDR can also help with quieter, repeated experiences that still leave a mark, such as being criticised, feeling "too much" or "not enough," or having to cope on your own, for example.
Taking the Next Step
Healing from trauma can feel daunting, but the right support can help. I take a collaborative, relational approach to help you feel calmer, more grounded, and more like yourself. Over time, you can feel less hijacked by the past and more able to engage fully with life. Book a free introductory call to explore how we could work together.

Accessible Online Sessions
Therapy is offered via the secure video platform 'Zoom,' allowing you to attend sessions from the comfort of your home and fit them into your busy schedule.
Ongoing Weekly Support
I usually work with clients on a weekly basis, at the same time each week. That consistency helps build trust, offers a steady rhythm to the work, and gives you the support you need as the work intensifies.
At the same time, I understand that therapy is a big financial commitment. I aim to make the work both meaningful and affordable. Some people come for a focused block of 8 to 12 sessions, while others choose to work with me in a more open-ended way — we can talk together about what feels realistic and sustainable for you.
Private Insurance
I am also a recognised psychotherapy provider for Aviva, AXA Health and WPA. If you have a policy with one of these insurers, please contact them to confirm whether your policy covers you for psychotherapy work with me.
