About me and my therapy practice
If you're here, something has probably been sitting with you for a while - maybe anxiety, low mood, a relationship that keeps hitting the same wall, a loss you haven't had space to process, or something from the past that still shapes how you move through the present. I work relationally, which means we won't just talk about what's difficult -we'll pay attention to how it shows up between us too, since the patterns that trouble you outside the room often surface inside it as well. That's often where the real shifts happen.
I offer a confidential, safe, non-judgmental space to slow down and actually understand what's going on, rather than just manage the symptoms of it.
I'm a fully qualified, BACP-registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with years of experience across community, university, corporate, and private practice settings, and I currently lead the training and consultancy work at Mind, supporting workplace mental health. That range means I've sat with a lot of different people, in a lot of different kinds of difficulty - and I bring all of that into the room with you.
Practice description
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, and that's completely understandable. It's often the moment something that's felt hard to carry alone starts to feel possible to explore with someone else.
I'm Maneet, a fully qualified, BACP-registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist based in Ealing, West London, working with clients both online and in person. I work relationally, which means we pay attention not only to what's troubling you, but to how those patterns show up between us in the room, often where the clearest understanding, and the most meaningful change, happens.
I work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, stress and burnout, depression, relationship difficulties, work and career pressures, grief and loss, trauma, identity, and cultural adjustment. Sessions are 50 minutes, and I offer both short-term, focused work and longer-term, open-ended therapy, depending on what feels right for you.
Because choosing the right therapist matters, I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone call before you commit to anything. It's a chance to talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what's going on for you at the moment, and to get a sense of whether working together could be a good fit for both of us.
If we decide to go ahead, your first session is an assessment: a space for me to properly understand your history, your current difficulties, and what you're hoping to get from therapy, and for you to get a feel for how I work.
Above all, I aim to offer a confidential, safe, and non-judgmental space, one where you're not just managing symptoms, but building a real understanding of yourself, at a pace that feels collaborative rather than rushed.
My first session
Your first session with me is a full assessment, giving us both the space to properly understand what's brought you to therapy. I'll ask about your history, what's currently difficult, and what you're hoping to get from the work, and you'll get a real sense of how I work and whether it feels right for you. It's a collaborative process from the start, not a one-sided evaluation.
The assessment session is £100 for the hour (ongoing sessions are £80 for 50 minutes).
Before that, I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone call. No cost, no commitment. It's simply a chance to talk through what's bringing you to therapy right now and get a first sense of whether we're likely to be a good fit, before you book anything further.
If it feels right to move forward from there, we'll arrange your assessment session and go from there together.
