About me and my therapy practice
I'm Kerry. Therapist, coach, and someone who believes real change starts with feeling properly heard and understood by another human being. I work with adults navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, difficult past experiences, or times of transition and major life change.
Whatever you choose to bring to sessions, we explore it together and see what's actually there. My aim isn't to categorise; it's to help you understand yourself more clearly, in your own terms.
My approach is integrative rather than fixed, sometimes exploratory and unhurried, sometimes more direct, depending on what you need. In a world that moves fast and often feels transactional, I hold onto the belief that real connection still matters most.
I hold an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Coaching, specialist certifications in neurodiversity, and I'm currently completing doctoral research into therapy and coaching for neurodivergent clients.
Practice description
Many of the people I work with are moving through a period of real change: sometimes a career shift, a relationship that's quietly lost its closeness, or a family bond that feels harder to navigate than it used to. There's often more going on beneath the surface than the presenting issue alone, and therapy offers a space to talk openly and confidentially, to make sense of what's happening, and find your way through it.
Neurodivergence is one area I bring particular depth to: clients wondering whether they might be neurodivergent, or making sense of a diagnosis they've received. I hold specialist certification in both areas, though it's one part of a wider practice, not a requirement for working with me.
As a rough guide, therapy tends to be the right starting point if you're carrying something difficult you want to understand, while coaching fits better once you're ready to grow or move through a transition with more structure. The two often overlap, and I draw on existential, psychodynamic, and CBT approaches alongside coaching, including executive and leadership work with individuals and organisations.
Sessions are available online and in person in London and Kent, usually weekly to begin with
My first session
Starting therapy or coaching can feel like a big step, especially if you're not sure what you're looking for. The first session is simply about getting to know each other: no pressure to have it figured out, and no assessment to pass. It's also a chance to see if I'm the right fit; that matters as much to me as it does to you. You're never under any obligation to continue.
What I can help with
Abuse, ADD / ADHD, Addictions, Anger management, Anxiety, Autism spectrum, Business coaching, Career coaching, Coach Therapist, Coaching supervision, Depression, Development coaching, Executive coaching, Health related issues, Identity issues, Leadership coaching, Life coaching, Menopause, Men's issues, Mood disorder, Neurodiversity, OCD, Personal development, Post-traumatic stress, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues
Types of therapy
Brief therapy, CBT, Cognitive, Existential, Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Neuro linguistic programming, Person centred, Relational, Solution focused brief therapy, Systemic, Transactional analysis
