About me and my therapy practice

My approach is culturally sensitive, neuro-affirming, accepting and uses both the social disability and neurodiversity lenses. I work with adult clients on issues such as depression, anxiety, self esteem, relationships difficulties, stress, life transitions, loss etc. I support couples in working through issues such as communication, expectations, differences, conflict, sex etc.

I am an integrative psychotherapist/counsellor, drawing from relational, psychodynamic, transpersonal, person-centred theories, IPT, CBT and culturally sensitive therapies.

I offer you my empathy, honesty and respect while we explore issues you feel you would like to bring to counselling at the times that we have agreed.

As part of my psychotherapy and counselling journey, I have gained clinical experience in a variety of settings, including Mind, Care for Carers, NHS Talking Therapies and Greenwich Student Counselling Services.

Since obtaining my masters qualifications in 2020, I have worked part time in my private practice, as well as working part-time for NHS Talking Therapies as a Counsellor Lead, an accredited  Interpersonal Therapy Practitioner (IPT) and an EDI lead. A crucial addition to my practice in 2026  has been to undertake extensive CPD on neurodivergence to to support me to work in a neuro-affirming way with my neurodiversity clients.

For me, the reality of life and the process of talking therapy is summed up in this simple and yet profound quote by James Baldwin: “Not everything that is faced can be changed. But nothing can be changed until it is faced”
