About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Accredited Psychodynamic therapist with a background in Psychology and primary care interventions.
My individual approach is based on what I believe is the core part of therapy: building an accepting and trusting relationship between therapist and client. I will encourage you to talk freely about whatever comes to mind - there is no right or wrong thing to say - and I will invite you to feel heard and to take part in a healing process that will allow you to get insight into both your difficulties and your strengths. By achieving this level understanding through reflection, people can become more attuned with their feelings, recognise how these affect their behaviour and relationships, and gain mastery of their live.
*I am now registered with AXA Health, Aviva, and WPA insurance, so if you are insured with any of these insurers, you can contact me directly or speak to your insurer to get information about next steps.
Practice description
I fundamentally use Psychodynamic therapy in my practice, which focuses on unpacking the conscious and unconscious mental processes that influence one´s way of being in relation to ourselves, others, and the world. In other words, this type of therapy is aimed to help people develop self-awareness and understanding of the dynamic influence of our past experiences on present behaviours, attitudes, and emotions. There may be things in your unconscious mind that you are not fully aware of and are painful or keeping you stuck. I will help you look for these patterns and understand them. We find what is keeping you stuck, and we dive deep in to be able to gently move in a new direction.
I have experience working with other theoretical models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Humanistic or Gestalt techniques. In this sense, I see the value in integrating concepts from different therapeutic models and being flexible to provide the care that each individual client might need.
My first session
I offer a 15-minute initial consultation for free, where I would love to hear what is bringing you to therapy and you can ask as many questions as you wish. That way, we can both assess whether we are a good match, and decide if we can work together by the end of the video call.
Finding a therapist can be a difficult part of the process. If you are looking for one, that’s already a sign that you are willing to give this a go and commit to the work.
It has probably taken you some time to get to this point, but now you feel ready. That’s a great start. Now, how can you know if a therapist is the right fit for you? It is one of those situations in which you have to try and see if there is a connection between you and your therapist.
It is believed that the therapeutic relationship that is built between therapist and client is one of the most important aspects of positive change and success in therapy.

A short intro:
I am a BACP Accredited therapist, and in my practice I work with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, family issues, loss, life transitions, and existential questions around meaning, identity and belonging.
I see therapy as a unique relationship that offers a dedicated space for reflection, curiosity, and understanding. Together, we can explore both the challenges you are facing and the strengths and resources you already possess, with the aim of helping you move towards a life that feels more meaningful, authentic, and aligned with who you are.
About me and my therapy practice
How I Work
My main approach is psychodynamic, which means I am interested in understanding how past and present experiences connect. Our relationships, life experiences, and the ways we have learned to adapt can all influence how we see ourselves, other people, and the world around us.
Sometimes we can become caught in patterns that no longer seem to serve us, or find ourselves reacting in ways that are affecting our wellbeing, relationships, or ability to live in the way we would like. Exploring these experiences can help us understand ourselves more clearly and make sense of why certain difficulties keep showing up in our lives.
While psychodynamic therapy forms the foundation of my work, I practise integratively and draw on different approaches when helpful. This is informed by my training and ongoing professional development. I don't believe therapy should be about fitting yourself into a particular model. We are all different, and I believe therapy works best when it responds to who you are and what you need in that moment.
How Therapy Feels With Me
I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to bring your thoughts, feelings, doubts, and experiences into the (virtual) room without worrying about being judged. My aim is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted for who you are.
At the same time, I tend to be an active therapist and I work in a collaborative way. I don't see therapy as a conversation where you are left to figure everything out on your own while I sit quietly in the background. I may offer reflections, share ideas, think out loud, or point to patterns that seem important. We can explore them together and decide whether they fit your experience.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Some people need space to reflect, others benefit from challenge or structure. My approach is flexible and shaped around the person sitting in front of me, while always keeping sight of what has brought them to therapy in the first place.

How my practice currently looks like
I currently offer online therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, family issues, loss, life transitions, and existential questions around meaning, identity and belonging.
The first step is usually an introductory call, where we can briefly discuss what has brought you to therapy, ask any questions you may have, and assess whether working together feels like a good fit.
If we decide to proceed, sessions take place online and are typically held weekly at the same time each week. The frequency and structure of our work can be discussed and adapted according to your needs.
My approach is collaborative, reflective, and tailored to the individual. Therapy offers a space to explore your experiences, emotions, relationships, and difficulties in a thoughtful and supportive way.
Some people come to therapy with a specific issue they would like help with, while others arrive with a more general sense that something does not feel quite right. Both are more than welcome. Together, we can begin to make sense of what is happening and explore the factors that may be contributing to your difficulties.
What People Often Gain From Therapy
Therapy is a very individual process, and what people take from it often depends on what brings them to therapy in the first place.
For some, that means feeling more confident in their decisions or relationships. For others, it means expressing emotions and needs more openly, feeling less alone in what they are carrying, or being able to face something that previously felt too difficult to approach.
Often, people find that they understand themselves more clearly and gain greater clarity about how they want to move forward in life. As they begin to make sense of their experiences, many also find that feelings of anxiety, low mood, or overwhelm begin to ease.
My first session
This session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and to explore what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. We may discuss the difficulties you are experiencing, any relevant background information, and what you hope to gain from therapy.
It is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the process and to get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
There is no expectation that you need to prepare anything in advance or have everything clearly worked out before attending. Many people arrive with a specific issue they would like help with, while others come with a more general sense that something does not feel quite right.
At the end of the session, we can reflect on whether ongoing therapy feels appropriate and discuss possible next steps.
The first therapy session is offered at a reduced rate of £55.
