About me and my therapy practice

I offer psychotherapy for adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship or family difficulties. Many people come feeling overwhelmed, stuck in repeating patterns, or unsure how to make sense of what they are carrying. Therapy provides a confidential and supportive space to slow things down and begin finding steadier ground.

My approach is psychodynamic integrative, relational, and trauma-informed, informed by neuroscience and an understanding of how the mind and body respond to stress. I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels manageable, helping you understand patterns that contribute to distress and supporting meaningful change over time.

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the NHS training centre for Kent & Medway. Alongside private practice, I have trained and taught psychotherapy within NHS services and worked across GP surgeries, educational settings, and community organisations.

Therapy with me is not about quick fixes or clinical jargon. It is about developing awareness, emotional steadiness, and confidence so life feels more balanced and connected. Clients often notice clearer thinking, improved sleep, and more ease in relationships as our work progresses.

I work with adults in person in North-West London, near Hampstead, Highgate, Mill Hill, Hendon, Camden, and Finchley, and I also offer online therapy across the UK. You do not need the right words to begin. An initial session is an opportunity to see how it feels to work together and to consider what support may be most helpful for you now.

Practice description

I work with adults seeking support for anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief, burnout, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and feeling overwhelmed. Many people come feeling exhausted from holding everything together or unsure why familiar patterns keep repeating. Therapy offers a confidential space to pause, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and begin finding steadier ground.

My work is psychodynamic integrative, relational, and trauma-informed, drawing on attachment theory and neuroscience-based understanding of how the mind and body respond to stress. Together we explore how early experiences and current pressures shape emotions, beliefs, and behaviour. This process supports insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful change over time.

Clients often describe my practice as calm, thoughtful, and containing. I aim to offer a space that feels grounded, respectful, and non-judgemental. As therapy progresses, many clients notice clearer thinking, improved sleep, reduced emotional reactivity, and greater ease in relationships. The work is paced carefully and collaboratively, ensuring it feels safe and manageable.

I meet clients weekly for 50-minute sessions, offering both short-term focused work and longer-term therapy depending on your needs. I provide private therapy in London and online, and my practice welcomes people from all backgrounds, including those exploring identity, culture, sexuality, and neurodiversity.

Fees, availability, and access information are discussed clearly before we begin. If you are seeking trauma counselling or private therapy with a steady, reflective approach, an initial session is an opportunity to see how it feels to work together and what support may be most helpful for you now.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity for us to meet and begin understanding what has brought you to therapy. You do not need to prepare or know exactly what to say. Many clients arrive feeling unsure or nervous, which is completely normal. My role is to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you find a pace that feels safe and manageable.

During this session, we will explore what feels most pressing for you, what you hope for from therapy, and any previous support you may have tried. You are welcome to ask questions about how therapy works, frequency of sessions, fees, confidentiality, or online therapy options. Together we can consider whether short-term focused work or longer-term therapy would be most helpful.

If you decide to continue, we will agree on a regular weekly time. Sessions last 50 minutes, and the fee for the first session is the same as ongoing sessions. I also offer a free 15-minute phone consultation if you would like to speak briefly before booking, which can help you decide whether working together feels right.

Reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, yet it is often the most difficult step. Once that step is taken, the process usually begins to feel clearer and more contained. Therapy is an investment in your wellbeing, offering space for reflection, understanding, and meaningful change. Whether we meet in person or online, my aim is to provide a calm, supportive, and professional space where you can begin to feel steadier and more confident over time.
