Therapist - Wokingham

Wokingham RG40
Sessions from £60.00

Features

Availability

I see clients on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at various times throughout the day - feel free to drop me a message to check my current availability. I offer online sessions via Zoom and in-person sessions from my home office in Warsop, near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

I know it can be daunting to take that first step so I will try to make it as easy as possible for you.

About me and my therapy practice

Let’s be honest: life can be pretty tough at times - and seemingly now more than ever. Take some time out for yourself and talk things through with someone who is kind, understanding, and knowledgeable about what you are going through. You might be feeling stuck, anxious, low in mood, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating. I can help you to explore these feelings and gain clarity at your own pace.

Hi, I’m Ben (he/him), an Integrative Psychotherapist. I work with adults from a wide range of backgrounds, offering therapy both online and in person. I provide open-ended therapy and seek to help you to speak freely, where your thoughts and feelings – even the difficult or contradictory ones – are met with care and curiosity, not criticism.

Practice description

My approach is relational and integrative, which means I place the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the work. I pay close attention to what’s happening for you, what you’ve been through, and the ways we come to relate to one another. I aim to build a relationship that is attuned, respectful, and emotionally present - one that can support healing, self-understanding, and lasting change.

I work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, identity, and the effects of past trauma or loss. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent clients and those from LGBTQIA+ and GSRD communities, and I aim to provide a space where all parts of you are welcome.

I enjoy working with people who want to understand themselves better. This might involve exploring issues around self-worth, belonging, or how you connect with others - especially if old patterns feel difficult to shift.

My first session

Our first session is a chance for us to meet and get a sense of how it feels to talk together - we can take it one step at a time. When you first contact me, I will send you a copy of my pre-therapy information sheet so that you have a good idea of what you can expect from therapy with me.

Not sure you’re ready for an initial session just yet? Want to try out a few different therapists first? Not a problem - I also offer a free introductory video call. These calls usually last around 15–20 minutes and are entirely optional and without any pressure to commit.
