About me and my therapy practice
My aim is to offer a safe holding space for you to explore who you are. I’m not here to tell you what your “issues” are but to offer ways for you to bring in curiosity towards self. Expectation & pressures of life can often feel overwhelming and come into conflict with us being able, or even knowing how to see and connect with ourself.
Practice description
Hi, I’m Benise (they/them), a queer & neurospicy counsellor & psychotherapist.
We can often feel disconnected from ourselves and others, misunderstood, and that there is no place for us, let alone our voice. I welcome you, in any shape or form that you are in that moment. I invite into the sessions, for you to take up space in ways that feels right for you. That maybe movement - drawing - noise or even silence. I work by guiding and offering ways to build ones own relationship & connection to self. Thus fostering a deeper understanding of self.
I like to gently interrogate how existing in this world we live in can & does impacts us.
I am gender, sexual, and relationship diversity (GSRD) & neurodivergent positive.
In-person work is from my studio space in Stoke Newington.
Walking sessions from Abney Park in Stoke Newington.
I also offer online via doxy or phone.
£70 per session is my standard rate. However, I offer limited number concession slots for trans, disabled & global majority.
