About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome
Perhaps you have found yourself caught in patterns that feel difficult to understand or change. Maybe your relationships feel complicated, you are struggling with how you see yourself, or experiences from the past continue to shape how you feel and relate to others.
I work with people experiencing difficulties in relationships, attachment and the lasting effects of childhood experiences. I also support people navigating the profound and often complex transitions of conception, pregnancy, birth and parenthood, including the emotional impact of fertility difficulties, pregnancy, birth, loss and endings.
Our earliest experiences and relationships can shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us. They can influence how safe we feel with others, how we experience closeness and intimacy, and what we expect from relationships.
Perhaps you find it difficult to trust or depend on others, become anxious when someone feels distant, withdraw when relationships become difficult, or struggle to express what you need. You may find yourself repeating patterns without quite understanding why, or feel stuck in ways of relating that no longer feel helpful.
Becoming a parent can also bring unexpected emotions and challenges, sometimes bringing aspects of our own childhood to the surface. Difficult experiences around fertility, pregnancy or birth can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious or unsure of ourselves.
Whatever brings you here, I offer a warm, thoughtful and compassionate space where you can feel heard without judgement. Together, we can begin to make sense of your experiences, explore the patterns that may be affecting you, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.
All of you is welcome here.
Practice description
I am a relational integrative therapist. For me, relational means believing in the collaborative power of the therapeutic relationship. I see therapy as something we create together, where the relationship between us can provide an important space to explore, understand and experience yourself in new ways.
Integrative means that I have trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Humanistic, Attachment, Contemporary and Classical Psychoanalytic modalities. I also draw on our understanding of the body, neuroscience and psychobiological research, alongside a trauma-informed perspective.
I pay attention not only to what you think and say, but also to what you experience in your body. Our bodies can hold and communicate powerful information, sometimes before we have words for what we are feeling. Paying attention to these somatic experiences can offer another way of understanding ourselves and the experiences we carry.
Bringing these different perspectives together allows me to tailor our work to you and your individual needs. I don't believe that one approach, or one way of working, necessarily fits everyone. Instead, I remain curious about what might be most helpful for you.
I also encourage you to bring your whole self into therapy, including emotions, uncertainty, vulnerability and the responses that can arise in the room between us. These experiences are real and authentic, and can become an important part of the therapeutic work.
You don't have to navigate these experiences alone. I will be alongside you, with openness, curiosity and compassion, as we make sense of what emerges. Within this relational and integrative space, there is the potential for meaningful and transformative change.
My first session
Please feel free to email me if you would like to know more about therapy or have any questions. I offer a preliminary free 20 minute call. We can then arrange an initial consultation session, where we can talk about what is bringing you to therapy, your current needs and concerns, and some of your background and history.
There is no obligation to continue after this first session. I recognise that finding a therapist who feels right for you is important. Therapy is a relationship, and it is fundamental that you feel comfortable, safe and able to work collaboratively with your therapist.
The initial consultation session is £80. If we decide to work together, ongoing therapy is from £80 per session.
A therapeutic hour is 50 minutes.
Choosing to begin therapy can feel like a significant step, and you don't need to have everything worked out before you get in touch. We can start from wherever you are.

Together, we can develop a therapeutic space where you can feel heard, understood and supported to explore what is happening for you, make sense of your experiences and, in time, discover new ways of relating to yourself and to others.
My first session
Please feel free to email me if you would like to know more or have any questions. I also offer a free 20-minute telephone call if this would be helpful. This gives us an opportunity to briefly discuss what is bringing you to therapy and whether working together might feel right for you.

There is no obligation to continue after this session. I recognise that finding a therapist who feels right for you is important because, as with any relationship, it is fundamental that we feel able to work well together.
The initial session is £80. If we decide to work together, ongoing therapy is from £80 per session.
